I do hate how anyone involved in the Army are labelled "brave heros" according to the tabloids or some other such hyperbole. There are many brave soldiers fighting in the world, but they are hereos by their actions while in the theatre of war, not by simply making it through basic training. I've known many brave men whom I would consider heroic and who served in the army, I've also known a small number of arseholes who were in the same service.
Christians have been involved in warfare etc. But Islam is the ONLY major world religion with a DOCTRINE of general warfare against the unbelievers.
