They said hes ahead of schedule. It will have been 6 months between his last fight and the Alvarez fight when he gets in the ring. I would have expected him to be back training 4 months after his surgery, considering his injury. I dont see the big deal.
The only reason Paul Williams was able to get the Alvarez fight was because Kirkland had to pull out due to the shoulder and Vanes is afraid to fight anyone.
Canelo's just taking advantage of an opportunity. Can't really hold it against him for not seizing an advantage if he's able to do so.
Translation, I'm jealous of Canelo and I wish Lara had what he had, therefore I will create excuses iearly on in case he wins. That ****ing Mexican guy doesn't deserve a fight with Canelo. Who wants to watch him clench all night? You think this because I was bitching out Abril for being a boring dirty fighter, and he happened to fight a Mexican leading you and others to believe I was some Mexican person on a rampage. Ive noticed you're constantly dissing and finding ways to minimize Mexican fighters. Look at your posts, all the Damn time. I don't see how one can be a boxing fan and not enjoy watching them box. Except molina, **** that guy lol
let me explain to you little guy: In my office i have a site with pictures of my favorites boxers:more than 50% are mexicans:Morales,Barrera,Marquez,Chavez sr.I don't minimize mexicans fighters.I minimize jerks like yourself who are happy about "cubans been sidelines in the corner"because you don't give a damn about the sport.I went to the press conference in Miami with Garcia and Rios, i talked to them as a fan, I'm still against Gamboas erratic behavior. Molina and Abril-hugging or clinching-are professional boxers, they have the balls to step in the ring, do you? Portraying me as antimexican doesn't help your cause of mexican dick rider. Read my posts and you'll know me better.
Why are we turning Kirkland into a victim here? Kirkland didn't have to accept the fight. He decided the potential reward was worth the risk. If he was that concerned about it, he could've passed on it again and gotten a headlining HBO fight once he came back healthy, making good money if not PPV money. He looks good there, he's still a logical choice for Canelo in a future PPV fight. To me it looks like Team Kirkland wants to cash in now and not risk another Ishida incident ruining his chance at landing a huge fight, or his shoulder's healing ahead of schedule. Or maybe a little of both.
Kirkland did not take the fight with Canelo the first time around due to his shoulder, that is a known fact. The way GBP have been matching up Alvarez as of lately doesn't suprise me that they would go back and try to lure Kirkland again after Williams got injured. Man I was so hyped for that Williams fight, a fight in which I was ready to give Canelo some credit for the first time. It does seem shadey knowing that Kirkland just had surgery and he's the guy they are going to. Let me just say even at 100%, I feel Canelo is technicaly superior to The Mandingo Warrior and will be able to beat him. I just want Kirkland to have a fair shake here and be 100% so no excuses can be made. I have yet to see any updates on Kirklands shoulder so I will wait and see before further criticizing GBP. They are the one that deserve the criticism. I would like to see when Kirkland starts sparring, and how his shoulder looks while doing so. All I give Kirkland is a punchers chance, but with a bum shoulder, he don't even have that. So with that being said anyone got any updates on that shoulder?
That very well could be it Rock. you are correct in that they didn't have to take the fight. But then you would get the whole "Kirkland is a ducker" and "Kirkland is scared" stuff...
