    I'm sure whoever is chosen by Golden Boy will immediately be declared the mandatory opponent by the WBC.

    How about Devon Alexander? It seems like they were intent on putting him in there with a lefty anyway, and Alexander doesn't have an opponent. Ortiz is another good option, although the turnaround may be too quick.

    Ortiz has a fight coming up and that probably rules him out for september.

    Alexander will most likely end up fighting Malignagi.

    My guess is that Canelo will end up fighting Quintana.

    these guys just hit welterweight.


    but EEHHH Maybe. JUST MAYBE ortiz .

    Style wise i see ortiz giving canelo more of a fight then most people think.


    but alexander and ortiz need to stay at welter for a while.


    maybe 5 years later if ortiz body keep on gaining muscle and "maturing" per se.

    then a fight between ortiz and canelo can be possible.

    this was the fight i wanted now i just dont give a **** .
    bring on bums ass carlos quintana, monlia and or lara.none of those guys would have made it a great fight might i add.:-(

    That's exactly what I was thinking.

    I see no reason why they shouldn't fight Martinez at 154 or 155 for the legit 160lb title.
