I actually never thought about mayweather being on anything dodgey, UNTIL floyd snr was interviewed a few weeks ago, probably on the ropes or something, the article was on the front page here, It was a really weird article where in my opinion he was actually kinda hinting about floyd and a **** load of others being on stuff, I'll try to find the article.

Apart from letting everyone ruin each other, what other reason could you give for him having such long lay off's inbetween fights?

just had a quick look through the archives and found it. I read this way before the stuff came out and I personally thought it was a very very odd interview, maybe it was me reading too much into it but ..

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=32065&more=1

basically seems like he is making excuses for peterson and then says this.. which I thought was odd..

“Look here! Look here! I would like to see Amir Khan get his whopped by my son, and let his ass test negative, and then let it be a negative fight on his end trying to whop my son

The whole interview is off to me.

In all fairness Morgan Robinson did write a novel entitled Wrath of the Titan about a huge unsinkable ship that set sail on its maiden voyage trying to break records and was sunk after hitting an ice berg in which many perished due to lack of lifeboats etc.

That was 14 years before the Titanic but the book was never released due to publishers believing the story to be too unrealistic.

Not much to do with Mayweather failing drug tests but I thought I'd pop some knowledge into the thread.:good

I was pulled a while back for saying Floyd was on 'em. Summat like 'he's the last person that'd be on them'.

Wasn't it him that came out and said he was 147 for Cotto? Maybe wanting to deflect attention off the fact he was actually bigger than Cotto? He looked it.

I know that this is a boxing forum, but if you have a bit of time this article is worth reading. Makes a pretty clear case for Rafa Nadal's doping habit for the last few years. Including how he regularly receives PRP (Platelet-rich plasma) therapy for injuries he suffers, which is strongly suspected as a way of bypassing failed drugs tests. It says:

"Over the past year, it has come out that this procedure is often used to mask doping. For example, recent revelations from the ongoing Spanish doping investigation known as Operation Galgo (Greyhound), show that the doctors involved were instructing athletes to fake joint injuries so that steroids could be injected intra-articularly."

After missing a tournament due to injuries, he instead received PRP treatment and returned shortly after having added 10mph onto his serve in the space of 2 months, something McEnroe said Nadal 'must have been secretly working on for years'. Nadal explained it as a simple change of his grip.

    Anyway, well worth a read:
