    Duran's prime was definitely from 1974 to 1979, while he was a dominant lightweight, fighting at his optimum weight of 135 lbs. When Duran moved up to 147 lbs, he lost some of his speed, and his punching power counted for less. Still, it's a tribute to Duran's greatness that gave SRR a whipping in their first bout.

    Some condensed Duran from the DeJesus trilogy. The version that showed up in the third is the closest thing to unbeatable at Lightweight we'll Ever See. :smoke

    I think the best fighter of the 1970's and the best Lightweight in history.

    He was winning big fights even when he was a shell of himself in the mid-late 1980's.
