Agree 100%, some of these dudes make me sick. **** it James go fight for nothing, also do it while injured, and if it's your last fight you can pump gas or sell dope.

Lets be real either he is healthy or he is not. If he is not dont fight. 1 mil for this kind of fight is very reasonable. It really doesnt matter because James is getting his ass kicked either way

Good money yes. But after taxes, training camp fees and after his management team get their slice its not as much as it seems for the risk he is taking.

Not fighting at 100%. I'd really like to see this fight, if I were in Kirklands shoes I'would be trying to squeeze out as much money as I could too.

My bad, I just read that his shoulder wasn't bothering him and he just wanted for money. If that was the case he should have asked for that amount right off the bat.

Kirkland is most likely going to lose, give the man 2m.

Canelo is going to go on to make ungodly amounts of money, that will make quite a few of America's top baseball players jealous.

Suck it up team Canelo, deal with the extra money being asked, prove to use you are the next up and coming legend that will continue a legendary streak towards greatness, both in boxing and your bank account.

Yeah, this is something I don't understand. People who are defending Kirkland are like "well, if you're gonna get destroyed, you want to get paid for it"...but hang on, Kirkland is a serious threat to Canelo. He hits hard and is relentless and as much as I like Canelo, I don't think he has a great defence, he doesn't take the best shot and he isn't active. Of all the realistic opponents for Canelo, I think Kirkland has the best shot of beating him. I actually think Kirkland would win, just because it's a tough styles clash for Alvarez.

It's the type of opportunity Kirkland should want for no pay day, just because of how good an opportunity it is. He may lose, sure, but if he does, he'll regroup just like he did after the lost to Ishida. A loss to Canelo is far less damaging than one against a Japanese journeyman, so what's the worst that can happen?

He should take $1m, which is his biggest payday. If he wins, he becomes a star and if he loses, he works his way back up again. No big deal. It was a great opportunity for him.

This chance is pure gold for Kirkland and assuming he's not really injured, he's being a complete tit if he doesn't take it, even for less than a million.

It will rise his marketability regardless of the outcome because Canelo is one huge draw, if he wins BAMF! instant star, and if he loses...well, he already got KOed in round 1 by a featherfisted japanese can, you can't sink lower than that. He'll survive and will have more money on his hands than ever before.

your lover mayweather is ok for trying to get about 60 million or more vs pac , but kirkland is a greedy **** for wanting 2 million instead of 1 million...
1 million bucks.... u.s. tax alone on that is about 300 grand....

how much does his trainer and people get? 10%? more? my you have selective memory on what greed is

    :rofl
