You're comparing Pacquiao asking for more money if Mayweather fails to make the official welterweight limit to keep the fight on, despite the advantage clearly being on Mayweather's side, to random blood and urine tests?

    Seriously?

What's the problem with blood testing? Pac seems to be the only top level fighter against it.

    Oh, and his fanboys.

If memory serves me correctly, this happened in late December and then Floyd came back with the testing demand. Both incedents occured after:

BoxingInsider: Who do you see winning Pacquiao vs. Floyd?
    Peterson: “It’s not gonna happen.”

    BoxingInsider: You don’t think so?
    Peterson: “No.”

    BoxingInsider: Why not?
Peterson: “It’s not a fight that’s meant to be made. That fight’s just not meant to be made.”

BoxingInsider: Why not? Everyone wants to see it?
Peterson: “A lot of people want to see it but they’re not gonna see it.”

BoxingInsider: Mayweather doesn’t want it does he?
Peterson: “Ah, that fight is not gonna be made.”

BoxingInsider: You’re saying it with a lot of certainty in your voice.
Peterson: “Yes sir. Yes sir. If it was gonna be made it would be made by now.”

BoxingInsider: Who doesn’t want to pull the trigger? (I know Mayweather is the chicken here, just want to try to get more from the source.)
Peterson: “I just don’t see it being made.”

BoxingInsider: You know something but won’t say it.
    Peterson: [Smiles]. :think

BoxingInsider: Who would win, if it was made? Just for fun?
Peterson: “It’s not gonna be made. That fight is not gonna be made.”

BoxingInsider: I hear you, it’s not even worth wasting the energy on a fight that is fantasy.
    Peterson: “It’s not gonna happen.”

(Keep in mind Peterson works closely with Floyd’s advisor Al Haymon in directing the career of Paul Williams.)

I'm not with it nor against it, that's not the point.

The point is, back then that was an unusual request for this one fight. I don't think demanding more money for failing to make the official weight limit is anything compared to new tests for one fight.

Blood draining CAN affect certain fighters as it may benefit others.

Oh boy, so that's the excuse you're rolling with?

I like "Floyd ain't the commission!" "Pac has too much Pride" or "Pac is too small already" excuses they came up with better. I was cool with them saying no to the tests, until they opened their mouths as to why. Too many lies for me, man.

Honestly I still am shocked when I think about it. That had to be a one in a billion chance to find someone who would allow a multi-million dollar slip away because of some blood testing. Just the fans luck that it had to be THIS fight.

    It's your choice to accept.

I know people that faint after blood tests and some don't just as I know people that regurgitate during plane rides yet others don't.

I hope you're AT LEAST mature enough to know that different people don't exactly react similarly to different situations and they can't help it.

I know. ****, still baffles me. Hearns and Ray agreed to random testing, but they just never implemented it. That was 20+ years ago.

So why do you think Peterson, a guy pretty close to camp Mayweather, was so sure the fight was not going to happen a month prior to any negotiation fallout?

But here's the million dollar question. If its not a problem at all now, why was it a problem then? So Pac lied back in 2009 and 2010?

Again, like many people, you're putting Pacquiao in your position. I hope you know this isn't Pacquiao's first nor last multi-million dollar offer.

According to Peterson the fight was dead a month before any of this came up. What did Peterson know at that point?

It's your choice to accept but don't get caught up in a bunch of stories as to why you can't.

THEN continue to NOT go about any advanced tests, then 2 years later all of a sudden be less prideful/unafraid/let floyd be the commission and accept the testing. Pretty much proved that everything he said about not being able to test was BS.

I'm pretty pissed after two years of **** slinging Pac is all of a sudden cool with it. The fight has no relevance.

No he didn't. His demand remains and was accepted, he's not going to be randomly tested 14 days before the fight. He made that clear.

Again I repeat, the public's behavior/reaction to Mayweather's unusual(at the time) demand wasn't treated/accepted as it is today. It was something out of the ordinary showing up for this one fight. Ever heard of circumstance?
