What was Kirkland's last purse against Molina?

 

Read everything man. How many times do I have to repeat myself. I said the money he gets should depend on how much is being made altogether.If the fight makes more money or Canelo is making loads of money why shouldn't Kirkland make money.He's well known by Mexicans and they know he comes to fight.He went over to Mexico and represented himself well and now he's in a big fight then some think he should make peanuts.There's a %age of goodwill he's bringing to this fight and he should get paid for it.

NO. You are fighting a big draw, who many are saying will be the next big star, ppv, cards already stacked against you. Give him 2mil. After taxes, manager, trainer etc, he would walk away with decent money. Look, he's not being greedy, there is plenty of money to go around. If they really want Kirkland, they can pay him well.

 

If Kirkland didn't have a diagnosed shoulder injury that previously was noted that he would be out until October, I would say something is up, but even a blind man can see what GBP is trying to do here. Waving some money in James face to get him to fight on short notice and not fully healed to save their card and provide a name for Canelo. Pay the man.
