I don't get with Americans, Froch has a good performance and then all these BS threads pop up, ducking Pavlik running away from Dirrell.

Let me ask a pertinent question to the OP, What the **** has Pavlik or Dirrell done in the last couple of years?

What's that? Ah right they have done **** all.

I like Pavlik and hope he comes back to get back on top, but to suggest that Pavlik deserves a shot now or that Carl is dodging him is just stupid.

You've said it before because you're a delusional *****. Carl is gonna **** Pavlik and send his ass back to Youngtown for good.

Yay, even if what he's saying is true, that would mean that Pavlik turned the fight down and didn't give the chance to Froch ... Why in the world would Froch give him his chance now ? That doesn't make sense.

I'm not going to go digging through google. Trust me or not on this one, I'm well aware of who was throwing Pavilk's name around trying to land a fight. Before the tourney Froch had a lot of trouble getting big fights and he was using Pavlik's name then. Kind of strange though, you ask for a source in the first line and agree it happened in the second?

Why would the MW champ give a chance to a SMW who wouldn't come down? WOW. I'll have to think about that one. :think

Froch would love to fight Pavlik.... if he got paid well .
But it is not a fight with PPV potential. Pavlik is not a household name. He has wasted his time in bars and saloons and not a soul outside boxing recognice him anymore.
It would be an easy payday for Froch.

Isn't it what he was expecting from Martinez by the way ? :think To give him a rematch AND to go to 164 ?

And you were backing that demand ....

    not quite ya dumb ****..

To my knowledge he talked about pavlik when he became a champ at super middle.. as i said above. so with this in mind why the **** would he want to climb down to middle weight to fight pavlik whom had already lost to hopkins at 170. Doesn't add up hence i asked for a source and since you can't deliver one then i think you are talking ****. happy to be proven wrong though:deal

Nice attempt at redirection but it is an entirely different time frame though. That fight pretty much marked the end of Kelly's ability to make MW and be effective.

I'm not arguing the fact this fight doesn't make sense for Froch right now anymore than Kelly fighting Froch back when Froch was throwing out Kelly's name made sense for Kelly then. So, why hate on Pavlik for doing it now as some seem to be doing? Believe me or not, after Calzaghe called out Kelly the DAY AFTER Kelly won his MW title, it seemed to be a popular thing for the SMW's to do. Now that Kelly is SMW let's see who is still willing.

I'm not hating on him and that's the fight I want to see if Froch doesn't take Kessler or Bute next. I still think Pavlik has absolutely no chance. :hat

Hold on, first you are the one saying he was calling pav out at middle weight but now he wasn't prepared to come down:rofl

That link proves nothing other than froch had called him out at super middle. Pavlik had fought hopkins at 170 6 months prior to this thread starting:patsch

Not exactly a source of froch saying he wanted to fight pavlik whilst he was a 160 fighter or a champion for that matter.

Bottom line is pavlik has a lot to prove, especially at super middle.
