And he was still fat. But really this TRT **** is ridiculous I don't think that anyone really believes that the most of these fighters need it. There should be no TRT for anyone (maybe in very very very few cases but only if it's something serious and not because those poor fighters are getting old :patsch ) or they should allow steroids for anyone which is not going to happen

Sonnen's were over by .1 or .2, which will do absolutely nothing for performance.

Of course, if it's healthy, which it is to have normal testosterone levels. I'm on it myself and am a huge advocate of it for aging men who have lost their zest for life and fallen out of shape. I was only 31 when I started it. It allowed me to get back into the shape I was when I was in my early 20s, nothing more. It's also helped with depression and confidence. It's not fun living life with next to no testosterone to function on like a normal man.
I was still about 215lbs before I started it but a soft 215. Now I'm much leaner and closer to 220lbs, and wake up with boners like I did when I was young.:D

No doubt boxing does but I don't hear anyone in boxing claiming ped`s are not a major problem. The facts are ufc is the #1 promotion, the biggest organisation in mma and its mouthpiece Dana white claims there is no ped problem in mma.

If that's the attitude from the top nothing will change.

I had no idea how much he was over. But didn't he tell them before the test that he was gonna fail it?

That doesn't make it sound good.

Who claims PED's are a problem in boxing? I never hear that other than people when people talk about Pac/Floyd. That is the only time, other than when someone gets caught. And then after they do, it's all but forgotten about. Kinda like it does in the NFL.

The difference in fan reaction when Peterson pissed hot to when overeem did is huge. On boxing forums there was little sympathy for Peterson and the vast majority wanted him punished.

When overeem failed a test mma forums are just pissed that the fight with jds was off. I didn't see nowhere near the same reaction boxing fans had towards Peterson.

Boxing doesn't have a boss and regulation is so much harder to put in place than the ufc. Boxing has fighters themselves asking for testing which is outside the norm. The ufc could easily implement a comprehensive drug testing policy but refuses to do so as they know that would kill business as so many fighters are on the juice.

Not sure but ya, that would be weird for him to assume he's gonna be over. I can tell you right now within a few decimal points what my levels are at. Just because the doctor monitors me so closely and get blood tests done 2-3 times a year.

Was it recommended by your doctor or are you on a weight lifting supplement?

ALL hormone use should be banned. Its completely illogical and naive to have a loop hole like this wilfully exploited because of a 'doctors' prescription. If you are UNHEALTHY you don't compete its that simple. But young healthy fighters in the prime of their life are taking hormones 'legally' because their more than aware of the benefits in a physical demanding sport like MMA. Either ban or do like PRIDE did and not bother at all. The whole morality side of it is an utter farce.

The UFC has a much smaller pool of fighters to choose from, which cause there to be a been there done that feel at times, when a guy like Mir filled in. Even tho he was the logical guy to do it.

In MMA, it is way to acccepted, but many of the fans are still new fans, and are only there for the spectical of of it. And seeing Reem/JDS would've had that spectical feel that Brock brought to MMA. That is why there was many upset. That and most people with two eyes knew he was roiding so that made the actualy announcment that he was caught not seem as big of a shock.

The worst part is everybody over 30 will be trying to do it and I'm sure they can all find a doctor who will give it to them. If they are trying to create an even playing field it should be eliminated. However is it possible to catch someonewho has had trt and has only been brought back to normal levels?

Blood testing would pick up on foreign testosterone.

But then again, should'nt a urine test? :huh
