A+ is for me Floyd or perhaps Pac. I rate Ward as a A, but he might exceede that. It would have helped had he not ducked Bute, the Dirrell brothers and tried to drain Dawson.

A+ for today in the 168-175 pound weight range. A notch or two below that in a historical sense.

border line elite level. To compare him to greats like Hopkins, Tony, and RJJ is just pushing it. He hasn't shown that he is on that level. I think some people overrate him, they act like he's unbeatable. He's not. And Dawson will beat him at 168 or 175.

Also Ward still has a lot to prove.

Let's not forget Ward did quite a number on your boy Froch and will again if they were to ever rematch. Ward is, at least a level ahead of Froch. Ward beats anyone at 168 lbs., including the Light Heavyweight Champion. Can we say the same about Froch?

I agree with everything you write. But Ward did avoid Bute temporarily, before Bute was exposed. He is very strategic about the way he manages his career. I guess I cant blame him, but I do find it a bit annoying.

    A. Not A+ yet, Maybe a few years if he becomes a " star '' type fighter,

Some Extreme Casuals still don't know him sadly.

Ward is a good fighter but he has never fught in hostile territory so he loses points on that, he always loses points for being a dirty ****ing nacker, so that puts him at B+ for me.

He is elite and I really like that he is going after Dawson (tho not sure if he is making Dawson fight at a lower weight.)

If he gets past Dawson, I think he cleared the field.

The only thing I don't like about him is his style of fighting. It is not the prettiest to watch and for that reason I can't see him ever being a star with the likes of Roy Jones et al.
