They're simply getting tested shortly after a cycle while they are experiencing a phenomenon known as metabolic lag, where their endogenous test production is abnormally low after a heavy anabolic/androgenic cycle.

    I can live with that.

Personally I think that Mir is just a bit TOO slow and clumsy. I can't see how he wouldn't be a little bit lighter on his feet if he was 15 pounds lighter, and every little bit of speed, explosiveness and cardio helps.

But we saw in the fight. Mir went for one takedown, failed, and then was flatfooted, slow, stationary and inactive to an almost embarrassing degree. I mean, he had nothing for JDS. His mass did literally nothing to help him in the fight. Maybe he would have done a little bit better if he was a little bit lighter, though realistically (once again), Junior is likely going to smash him no matter what.

But Mir bulked up a couple of years ago, and he can't just snap his fingers and drop the weight. Plus it's worth remembering that he was scheduled to fight Cain, a powerful and relentless wrestler. Perhaps the extra strength that comes with the bulk might have worked better for him against Cain. But against JDS it did nothing for him. :good

I think your forgetting Fedor was "shot" when these fights happened....yes Hendo maybe 40 but a younger Fedor was still "past his prime" so the loss really doesn't count.

Yep after the failed TD attempt Mir was a deer in the headlights and just waiting for the car to hit him.....and it did.

    Did it what.

You gotta give Mir credit though. People give him **** for his chin, but Junior really dropped some bombs on him at the end of the first round, and Mir hung tough. Mir got hit with a massive combination of about 4-5 flush power shots that he didn't see coming from the best puncher in the division, and he stayed conscious and tried to fight back. We have to give him respect for that. :thumbsup

I give him credit for taking the fight, but i'm not giving him credit for not getting KO'ed quicker.

Arlovski took some pretty hard bombs from Bigfoot, and for whatever reason didn't go out. But i'm not gonna give him much credit for that since he still sucked it up and lost.

Even with a bad chin, most guys don't go out to the first hard shot all the time.

Do you idiots even understand how fighters like Mir get a low testosterone amount? It is from using and abusing anabolic steroids for years. Mir has gyno as do many of your other UFC heros.

When you use steroids for years you are never going to have a natural testosterone level ever again.

Some of you actually believe this is happening naturally to these guys?:rofl:patsch

Look at Todd Duffe who I first saw fight in a bar in Atlanta back in like 2006 he looked like an AIDS patient he was so skinny. Now the kid is what 28 and already needs HRT therapy?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Some of you need to watch Pro Wrestling instead of Boxing or MMA if you believe what I have seen posted on here.

I went to a specialist because i felt like something was wrong. I could tell my test was pretty much gone. They ran some tests and of course, i had almost zero testosterone. They put me on HCG (because I still want to have kids) and Test Cypionate.
I did abuse steroids though when I was younger, much like most of these UFC guys have. Regardless, the doctors don't care, they just want to get you normal again.

  15. And probably 7 times more fights than Hendo and Randy. Fedor didnt just come into MMA in his youths, he was a top level Judo fighter who fought for Russia and medalled very well, then went to Sambo/Combat Sambo also fighting for Russia and at a top level, and then went to MMA. These fights takes a toll, much more so than someone who only fights 1 or 2 times a year.
