For someone who stays in the pocket and throws in excess of 100 punches a round, his defense is pretty damned good. He's pretty good at not getting caught flush....Kinda like Zaragoza and Medina. (Yay! More comparisons for LSC! :happy :D)

However, I don't see anything wrong with intelligent criticism. . . I think it's fair to say that a boxer/mover very fleet of hand, and foot could pose problems for him. . . But you're right, for that style of come forward, flat footed, high punch output, infighting, he does have pretty good defense. . .

I'm interested to see how he performs against a guy like Chemito, who is clearly the best 118 pounder in the world. . . Or Yamanaka who is fleet of hand, and foot. .

But hats off to him for his performance tonight. . . Looked real good.

He is a low class fighter, lets not overhype him for the judge screwing him in the Wolak fights.

The **** are you talking about Bama, dude got robbed against:

    Wolak
    Theophane
    Jackiewicz
Hlatschwayo (twice, including the draw making it two robbery draws)

...but I guess he only began to exist when you saw him for the first time against Wolak on ESPN2, huh?

    He's basic, that doesn't mean he's shitty.

And he's always exciting, even against awkward fighters who aren't usually fun to watch (like Theophane).

    **** the haters.

Theophane wasn't a robbery, it was a close fight.

:-( This is a disturbing trend. Like when you said Johnny instead of Jhonny. :verysad

Close first round, I'll give it to Trout, but it was a real feel out round, no one landed anything significant.

    10-9 Trout
