    Round 12

Rodriguez is pushing forward and jabbing steadily. Trout is waving his right glove out to check the jabs but they aren't actually making contact. Trout paws his own jab, just swishing the air. Nobody has landed anything yet. There's a lead left downstairs by Trout. 1-2 by Rodriguez, falling in and getting held and spun to the canvas. No knockdown. Time in. Lead left to the body by Trout. Southpaw 1-2 by Trout, blocked. Lead right by Rodriguez falling in, caught on the glove as Trout leans back. BIG RIGHT HOOK by Trout countering a Rodriguez left hook, lands flush and loud. Trout circles to the right and then backs up several paces. Straight left by Trout. Rodriguez pressures slowly, and misses a lunging overhand right. Straight left to the body by Trout. BIG right uppercut on the inside by Trout as they're leaned together. Right hand by Rodriguez. Another right!

    10-9 Trout

    118-110 Trout
