Who thinks the Klits are laughing right now as Tarver keeps mentioning a move up to heavyweight?

He shouldn't have announced "split decision" first, it was misleading, because I've never heard a ring announcer begin with "We have a split decision" and then calling it a draw.

I'm sure he isn't on their radar. All these cruiserweights keep calling them out (Adamek, Haye, Mormeck, Huck) and until they build up a resume at HW they don't even enter the conversation for K2.

UD over Nagy Aguilera doesn't cut it. :yep

Jimmy Lennon Jr screwed up at the beginning. When a decision is going to be a draw, most announcers just go right to the scoring without announcing what kind of decision it is. Because he announced a split decision, I expected a winner, and when he said the last judge scored the fight "114 to ..." I thought that judge had given someone a 10-8 round.

I'd say tehre was about 4-5 rounds that Kayode definitely won. . And about 2-3 rounds Tarver definitely won. . The rest really wre pick 'em rounds. .

So while your card sounds way too wide, it's really not that far of a stretch seeing how boxing is scored. .

I want to say I think guys here were influenced by Showtime or the fact that Tarver is the older guy that we've grown to like in the commentating booth, but I see my score was closest to Bama's so now I realize that I am probably just wrong.

In my defense, I thought this fight was the textbook saying of scoring "round by round." I thought Tarver was simply out-worked too easily in rounds to body-punching and other shots, and I thought he did a great job controlling rounds 6-9. Then he tired and his activity dropped and I thought he lost the remaining rounds. Close rounds, but he lulled on his winnings and simply got out-edged pretty easily. I thought Bernstein did his best to make Tarver look more beneficial in the scoring or the potential of the scoring then what he believed.
