Chad has said he can make 168 and thats his mistake..

Ward has made it clear that he will not be fighting Dawson above 168 end of story and Dawson seems desperate to get the fight on. Good on him i say, it is a risk but if it wasn't for Dawson I doubt very much we would be seeing this fight.

 

If I was Dawson, I would not try to make the weight (even though I said it), come too heavy, lose some of the purse in order to make more after. Taking the zero to Ward would be quite something.


But Dawson will loose regardless.

 

I don't understand the criticism of this fight. We have 2 top guys looking to fight each other.....without being forced to do so.

 

i think the same way. im glad there are guys like dawson who wanna fight the best, however i do agree that he shoulda just stayed at 175

 

Most likely, even his strength and conditioning coach said that Dawson won't have a problem getting down to 168.

 

At 164, Ward would be drained for sure. Manny would knock him out in 9 or 10 and people would say Manny drained him.

 

Let's cut the crap. Dawson CALLED WARD OUT AT 168 OR 175. There is no problem here.

 

big difference between saying you can make the weight, then actually making the weight.
