That first fight was very competitive, and it ended with a highlight reel KO. What's not to like again? Are you even a fan of boxing at all? I know, you'd rather watch reruns of Tyson destroying some unkown loser like Peter McNeely or Steve Zouski............anything more complex than that would leave you baffled. :nut

Best available & willing contender that just happens to also be a mandatory defense. Should Wlad toss that belt in the can like Bowe did so these Brits can say he's ducking Tony?

No, he DOES have to defend everything Klitschko. That's the tragedy of it all.

We know it's a mandatory, we know it's not Wlad's fault but it's a **** fight. Just the way it is.

Tony Thompson is still a dangerous Heavyweight but I'll be quick to admit he's less dangerous than he was last time. This is HW boxing though, a single punch can change a fight at any given moment. You're free to not tune in aren't you?

Admit the first fight was a pretty good scrap.............I dare you.

It was one of Wlad's more entertaining defences in recent years, and I think I actually paid PPV to watch it.

But you're kidding yourself if you see Thompson as a threat, or even as much as a threat as in the first fight.

I just said the threat was less than the first fight, because Tony is showing signs of age while Wlad isn't..............

Reading comprehension isn't your thing huh?

How about the Brock fight? Awesome KO right? The Sultan fight was **** and the Chagaev fight wasn't too much better. The Chambers fight lasted too long but the final KO puynch was well worth the wait. Is that enough honesty for you?

    That would be something.

I could honestly see people claiming at ESB Wlad did not want to go second time with Tony because he had some problems in the first fight or something.:-((

If Wlad had such a **** mandatory such as Thompson, why on earth did he fight Mormeck in a 'keep busy' fight?

    That's what I don't get.

    It's like:

"I know I have a **** Mandatory Defence vs. Thompson coming up, so let me fight an even shitter Mormeck in a 'keep busy' fight. Now there's a great idea."

It certainly wasn't Graziano-Zale in terms of excitement. But for six rounds, Thompson held his own, to say the least. After that Vlad took control and bludgeoned him.

If Shaunster didn't think the fight was competitive for six rounds, I question his boxing knowledge.
