Could Pacquiao beat certain heavyweights?

Could Pac even reach Valuev's head? I don't think Pac can stop him with a body shot, in fact it might tickle him instead. I think people underestimate the difference size makes in skilled boxers, a David Haye punch is 20 times as powerful as a Pac punch. Valuev wouldn't have to worry about anything, Pac might get knocked out by a blocked arm punch from Valuev.

 

Ruiz would eat Pac alive. No doubt about it. Think about the difference in reach and try to picture Pacquiao trying to hit Ruiz over and over without getting it in return... for 12 rounds. I know Ruiz was a boring and unskilled HW "champion", but he knew his way around a ring. He'd just have to chase Pacquiao and hit him coming in. With the difference in height and reach, Ruiz would have the time to throw 2 jabs until Pacquiao is able to land one of his. An HW jab would put Pacquiao on his ass.

 

Weight classes aren't just for hight and reach, it is also because of the punishment a human body can absorb. A heavyweight power punch to a WW chest could possibly crush a sternum and kill the man.

 

So Bruce Lee can't be touched?

 

I think if you made the heavyweight take more stringent tests and wear the wrong socks. That's a sure way to lose in Pac fantasy land.

 

You couldn't be more wrong! Pacquiao is just wild, he looks great against a certain kind of opponent, but as JMM and Mosley showed, Pac is not a great technical fighter. Go watch Klitschko-Haye and tell me Pac has better defence and footwork than Haye. Technically, Haye has never been exposed the way JMM exposed Pac 3 times. Also, remember that Haye has been fighting guys who outweigh him by 2 stone (20-25 pounds)

 

Any heavy weight destroys Pac (and anyone around Pacs weight classes)

Mayweather could beat heavies too in the boxing ring. He doesn't have real punching power like Pacquaio, but he has accuracy, speed, and movement that could lead him to a win. Guys with speed can't lay a hand on Mayweather, why would some piece of **** heavy that doesn't know **** about boxing be able to?
