Even if his name is not there, the first name that comes to my mind is Arturo Gatti.

    Nigel Benn.

Once you've got him hurt, just back off. Trying to get rid of him puts you in harm's way :yep

Marquez is probably the best fighter I can think of at coping when under fire, and he does it by firing back, landing hard shots.... taking advantage of the opponent who thinks that he's got the job done simply by decking him or hurting him.

Most fighters these days are absolutely terrible at finishing an opponent. David Haye's ''finish'' of Harrison was abysmal, completely open to being nailed with a hard counter.

Aye, Gatti is a good candidate. . . But I've still never seen somebody strike back with such SURGICAL PRECISION as the great Juan Manuel Marquez when hurt. . . He will **** your world up if you hurt him. . . . He'll jump on your ass like a spider ******.

    Talking about machines.

On fight Night when i got my opponent on the verge of going down.

    I would go all out.

And sometimes it would be me that would end up on the canvas.

    Hated when that happened.

Damn! At least you got that killer, finishing instinct, though. . . Did you then recover, get up, and return the favor! :bbb

I've yet to encounter a beast like that in sparring. . But I haven't been doing it for very long. . . Want to have my first ammy match soon.

I think Marquez is a choice in the mould of de la Hoya or Leonard. Much easier to hurt than both but with some top class re-cooperative abilities. The way he strikes back is similar to Ray and Oscar, he's a well rounded fighter, who can surivive and can then adapt later on, or notch it up a gear. From there he can take much less flexible fighters, put a beating or lesson on and then possibly score an accumulative stoppage or knockout. However when he's in there with a similar or more adaptable fighter like Barrera or Mayweather, his comeback has proven to be much less effective.

Tito was a guy you could have hurt and then when your trying to close it off, he starts banging. As was the case in the Campas fight.

As for Benn, very tough guys, wicked power, ruthless attack. Didn't always have the flexibility to avoid being stopped once hurt though.

JMM got knocked down 3 times in the 1st rd by Pacquiao but Juan continued and fought all the way to a D.

JMM got floored by Kastidis in the 3rd but Juan knocked his ass out in the 9th.
