    Folks,

I met a guy from Georgia who is sponsoring heavyweight Travis Walker. Travis Walker has several losses on his resume, but he is supposedly under new management and has a newfound eye of the tiger toward his trade. He has a ranking, but seemingly gets no attention or respect. Who else feels Travis Walker can go somewhere in the heavyweight division in 2012 if the window of opportunity opens up for him???
    :huh:bbb

Not gonna happen. Walker is on a very similar level to a Dimitrenko or a Barrett. He can get some high quality wins by throwing the right shots, but on an off night, he'll end up starched himself or defending for 36 minutes.

Travis isn't bad, but he's not in the same ballpark as a Klitschko.

Kubrat Pulev clubbed Travis Walker like a babyseal, Wlad or Vitaly will kill him if he ever steps into the ring with them.

Getting rocked, yet staying upright from a Chazz Spoon pair of rights to the head doesn't add up to a glass-jaw for Seth Mitchell.... Quite the contrary...:bbb

Travis Walker is fun to watch. Seems to have had some serious setbacks though, and some bad luck. He fought a close fight with Chagaev that I felt could've been ruled in his favor. His fight with Leapai was great, but the ending was a bit wishy washy for my tastes. The referee stopped it at the first sign Walker was in trouble, but easily could've stopped it earlier when Leapai was in trouble. A rematch would be nice, but who would pay to see it? Unlikely. I'd like to see him in the mix, but he'll never be "ready" for a Klitschko fight. He would be absolutely demolished. He got sparked by the K's sparring partner, Johnathan Banks.
