I don't feel anything. People like to masturbate over numbers which mean absolutely nothing in context. It's like saying "I'm a multi millionaire!" and then when someone asks you where you live, you say "Zimbabwe" and then they realise that £1 is worth Z$555 and being a multi-millionaire over there doesn't make you rich at all.

    It means nothing.

Wlad could beat 20 **** opponents or he could be 50. It doesn't matter. It he defends his title until he's 40, fighting 5 times a year, and yet he doesn't face a single 'very good' or 'great' fighter, what does that mean? It means nothing

Wlad's reign at heavyweight carries absolutely no weight, regardless of how many defences he makes.

The same can be said for louis and Holmes the competition wasn't that good or so it seems because they are or were that good.

He still has one year to go. But right now he's reign has been pretty long, similar to Dempsey's, Holmes', Jeffries'. He surpassed Marciano and Lewis a long time ago.

Yeah can we safely say he was the best heavyweight since then or would Vitali have beaten him in 2008 and 2009?
Wlad sadly also has only about a year and a half left as a HW champion because there are many dangerous fights out there. Fury,Price,Mitchell,Arreola,Chisora,Helenius,Pulev,Jennings,Kevin Johnson.

It's not Wlads fault that his comp is utter trash. He will be judged accordingly. He won't ever be seen as the best heavy ever.

Holmes' competition wasn't any better. Trust me, I lived through that mediocre era in HW boxing.

I never get why so many people hate on wlad. he's not cocky, he's not a thug, he's not covered in tats. hes just a good person. is that why people hate him? sure the era isnt great but that isnt wlads fault. so maybe if he wasnt as good defensively and left him self open more he would be more fun to watch? wouldnt you rather have an NFL team who methodically dismantles their opponents to crushing defeats then have a high flying offense with no defense...i know its a different sport and his fights arnt to easy on the eyes all the time but he's dominant at what he does.

    Great Champion :happy:happy:happy:happy

  15. People hate him for different reasons. I like him, he's my 3rd favorite HW behind Lewis and Vitali. Ironically on boxing forums these 3 often provide heated arguments and troll insults.

Hence I have to pick a side and obviously I will always pick my favorite over 2nd or 3rd...

I will rather have a champion like Wladimir over a champion like Tyson any day of the week.

I dont understand why Euros can't just unite and merge Lewis and the K2 into one super entity of American HW Killing express over the last 2 eras.
