Tribute to some of the Stars of 1990's [yt]FwPKToxDdjQ[/yt] Watching old fights promos they had some funny hip hop songs so i thought I'd do the same. I added some footage from 80's & 00's, my reasons being they were active in the 90's.
The 80's HWts were pretty good as well but somehow Tyson just cleaned the division but I give credit to all those who faced Larry Holmes and those who didn't but fought for World Titles back then, Michael Spinks, Michael Dokes, Mike Weaver, Tim Witherspoon, James Bonecrusher Smith, Gerry Coetzee, Carl Williams, Greg Page, Tony Tubbs, Pinklon Thomas, Trevor Berbick, Tony Tucker, I know what i am talking about cause I have sen them at their best.
The 80's heavyweights where the most talented but? Troubled. The 80's was all about taking cocaine and drugs......
All I did was just skip to the scenes that involved Lennox Lewis. Great semi tribute to Lewis well done
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7L2io5-Fjs[/ame] start from 0:28 right after Lewis took a Briggs punch he literally dodge and weaved his following combos smiled then Knocked Briggs down That **** is like some ROY JONES JR ****
As somebody who was around during that time and also has a functional memory, all the boxing writers, magazines etc. described the heavyweight division as being the worst it ever was. You can read old issues of The Ring or whatever boxing magazine and you will find the heavyweight division has always been at its all time worst since whatchuhmuhdoodle invented the printing press.
