Quick feet, fast hands, and uppercuts have never beaten Floyd Jr.
People over play the Castillo fight. I understand why. Floyd looked like he wasn't at full speed. And he wasn't, Floyd's hand had been injured.

Ortiz is sort of an ambush fighter. It didn't look too good on him into 4 rounds.
As for awkward angles. The concept looks attracting. Angles have never bothered Floyd Jr before. Floyd has a front facing swivel that keeps opponents in his line of sight and instinctual he is a counter-puncher. Bouncing around in front of Floyd is target practice or duck hunting.

He is going to train on you and punish you for your movement.

Whats going to beat Floyd is a better boxer. Don't look for a gimmick to do it.
Don't look for a lucky punch to do it (Shane Mosley) because Floyd is too keen in the ring. A better boxer beats Floyd. If one exists.

It is stupid for a Floyd`s fan. Floyd is a cherry picker. He does not
fight the very best such as Pac and Martinez.

I think there are quite a few things to consider...one of them is:

Jab, jab, jab. Not many fighters have a good jab, but if you have one then you'll have a key weapon against Floyd. The shoulder-roll is great for dealing with big, looping shots, because you can roll with them. It's tough to land hooks to the head. It's also difficult to hit him with the straight right, but he's much more open for the simple jab. It's the quickest and simplest shot, and goes straight down the middle...it doesn't really offer you a good opportunity to roll with it. It has to be a good jab, though, like the sort that Hoya and Cotto can throw -- if your jab is badly timed, too lazy and/or slow, then Floyd will just come over the top with a straight right.

A good or great left jab... that's how De La Hoya and Cotto got some good work done.

But what about a LEFT HOOK.... I think that would land on his shoulder roll.

You scared the **** out of him like knocking Hatton out cold, knocking Cotto down, or knocking Mosley down. Floyd will think you're the Terminator and refuse to fight you.

:happy:happy:happyYou beat me to it,.. Good job! If it was "THE NIGHT OF THE JAB" dela hoya would of won. Not give him a beating, but won a dec.

That is why I alway thought that a PRIME DeLa Hoya beats him. Past his prime DLH didn't have the energy to jab all night.
