I know we have seen the chin-checker's thread regarding the ten most feeble, and fragile jaws. . . But what about the ten most SOLID set of whiskers? CHIN CHECKERS. . . Drop some knowledge on us. . . I can't think of any off the top of my head aside from Vitali (definitely has to be the best). . . Froch is undoubtedly in top five despite kissing canvas once. . . Kessler should be top 10. . . Glen Johnson deserves mention. . . Brandon Rios deserves a shout. . . I might say Floyd, but he did a NICE lil STANKY LEG (two times) against Mosley, and despite recovering nicely, he still showed that he's got some glass particles in that mandible. . . I was thinking CLottey, and Abraham, but that might just be because they prolly have the best high-guards in boxing right now. . . EDUCATE ME, and the rest of our fistic colleagues, CHIN CHECKERS!
yeha, yeah, yeah. . . seriously, though. . . do not dishonor all the work chin checkers have dropped on this thread. . . 10 best chins in boxing?!
1. Floyd Mayweather 2. Carl Froch 3. Dereck Chisora 4. Vitali Klitschko 5. James Toney 6. Glen Johnson 7. Mikkel Kessler 8. Antonio Tarver 9. Arthur Abraham 10. Brandon Rios
Margarito Froch Rios Johnson Toney Vitali Klitschkho Pacquiao Mayweather Clottey Abraham Dont know about the order
Hmmm. . official chin checker, how can Floyd be above Vitali when he's been stunned? Did stanky legs? ALso, Johnson has been stopped, while froch has not, and no mention of him? Chisora has done stanky legs against Fury, Vitali, and Helenius. . . I hate to question an official chin-checker, but I'm not sure about this. . . :think
This sounds about right, but not clottey cause he's been dropped with a jab. . . he just has a crazy-effective, and strong high-guard. . . I think Vitali has to be number one, cause he's barely even been stunned, and he's a HW who has fought some huge punchers. . Here would be my order with this list: Vitali Toney Froch Chisora Johnson Abraham Rios Mayweather Pacquiao Abner Mares/Agbeko
Froch is nr. 2 on my list.. Mayweather has taken bombs through his career, so he is rightfully #1... Chisora walked through Vitali's, Fury's and Helenius' best shots..
he'd be up there, but since he retired i didn't include him. . . only time he's kissed the canvas was off a BRUTAL flurry including a right uppercut, and an overhand right from arguably a guy with the most powerful overhand right at the weight (at the time). . i mean, that was a BRUTALLY hard punch. . . he's definitely somewhere around 2-5.
