Please tell me this piece of garbage commission is not becoming legitimate.

And why does Wlad not vacate it?

Doesn't James Toney also have an IBO belt?

IBO will soon count as a world title eventually.

Very soon we'll have 17 world champions.

    In just one weight class.

We, the fans get to say what title counts. The IBO means just as much as the rest of the ABC belts.....nothing at all! The Ring title is the ONLY real title.

Al Bernstein CLEARLY stated to Gus Johnson that it was not one of the major belts, but that it represented a nice step up for Kayode.

The IBO belt is **** and Wlad has the real titles so he should give it up. We can't allow anymore belts into legitimacy.

    WBC
    WBA
    IBF
    WBO
    The Ring

Don't forget Wlad is defending that **** belt next month, lol.

I agree with your rankings on the belts. It's a shame The Ring isn't higher.

edit - I answered your original when you didn't say Wlad was IBO champ, just for context, haha.

Goldenboy does not manipuate the ring rankings. The Ring rankings are still voted on by a panel of experts. And yes the Ring belt is legitimate because you can only win it or lose it in the fair old fashioned way.

I'm sure there are some instances in their rankings where this isn't entirely true.

I actually though they did a good job of making people realize that it IS NOT a legit belt. Al clearly stated that it's not a real world champion belt and that Tarver should look to fight one fo the real champs (different wording I'm sure).

NBC on the other hand were totally ridiculous on Friday in constantly claiming the Rosada vs Powell fight was for the WBO world championship belt when in fact it was for the worthless WBO Intercontinental championship, they would have had casual viewers convinced Rosado was the new King at 154.
