I said some things on 24/7 last night that Alex might not like," Roach said. "If he has something to say to me about it, he'll say it. But I won't let it affect my fighter and I know what's important here and that's the focus of Manny Pacquiao. … Manny likes him and wants him on board, so that's the way it is. Alex will be there until the fight and once we get to the fight and I put down my four corner men, This content is protected " he added.
If Ariza prepares the gorilla urine, but won't do the nude greasedown because Pac does not shave his testicles, then I agree. Ariza is very unprofessional and Freddie has a right to be upset with him. :deal
"Dolo: Well, obviously Pacquiao engages in the non-ejaculatory sex with his wife Jinkee or the non-ejaculatory masturbation when she is not present. This means the boxer engages in sexual excitement without achieving orgasm. Doing this helps the boxer to maintain focus for the fight and also allows the boxer to have more inner rage during the fight. This is why towards the end of the training camp; Pacquiao is very ferocious and punching hard. It is very hard to knockout a fighter that has non ejaculatory sex repeatedly during training. Almost every Filipino boxer I have met does this and many people say it is our secret weapon. This method is so important that many trainers aid the fighters in this part of the training when a woman is not available. The benefits of non ejaculatory sex for all athletes, especially boxers, are undeniable. In the high school where I teach, I have implemented this and have seen the results for myself. " what the hell? i gotta try this, imma give it up for boxing =P but srs that article has to be bull**** with the nude baredown or w/e the **** its called
I don't see anything outrageous about those articles. These types of things happen in boxing all the time.
James Toney did the blindfolded sparring training when he was under Billy Blanks. Oscar de la Hoya did naked rubdowns and so did Ali. There's nothing new under the sun.
Hate is a strong word.... I think he didn't like Ariza dipping out a couple of weeks early to help JCC jr.....he felt it was unprofessional and unacceptable... But ultimately it was Pac's decison. The corner men on June 9 is Freddys call.
Because Ariza seems to want to court publicity and controversy, whereas Roach simply wants Manny to turn up at the gym, train and then go home.... whilst leaving Manny to do what he wants outside of camp - which is the way it should be. Ariza is forever claiming that opponents are rubbish, or disrespecting people like Miguel Diaz, who's a well known cornerman - both as a trainer and cutman. If he'd simply stuck to doing exercises and manning the spitbucket whilst being quiet they'd get along fine.
