Cotto has demostrated a much improved foot work, defense and during the FMJr he increased his agresiviness as well. Miguel is looking leaner and much stronger. I dont think that Pac wants any of Miguel.

With probably the best corner man that Cotto has had during his carreer, and better conditioning Cotto will make Pac pay.

All this none sense of left over BS is childish!

Miguel Cotto is the ONLY boxer in the 2000s who has fought the top 1 and 2 P4P of the world! Cerntantly, he lost against them but the only one that was a TRUE loss was with Floyd! Floyd deserves 100% credit.

Fought him at his full weight, not catch weight, with full corner, no controvercy.

    Cotto vs Pac @ 150-154LBS = Cotto >>>OWNS>>> Pac

I don't think it will be easier, Cotto did look astounding at 154, but Pac will still win.

It's speed + angles + granite chin (of Pac's) coupled with lack of body punching + natural disadvantage of being a converted orthodox (Of Cotto's) will still result to a TKO or a wide UD, Pac owning the later rounds.

Pac destroyed him in 3 rounds and the rest of the fight well.... I think we all know the rest. If they fight again Cotto will last longer due to not letting the same thing happen again, but still gets stop.

Ah, I see you're not actually here to cogently argue your point. You're simply here to troll. Well done Klitard...

Manny felts Cotto's power at 145, weight drained and full of personal problems Cotto was still able to perform in some of the rounds. There is a reason Manny wouldn't even dare to face Cotto again even at 150.

Nah the fight would be different, because Cotto would avoid getting into exchanges with Pac. Cotto was out boxing Pac until he started exchanging and got caught. I give Cotto a very good chance of beating Pac in a rematch especially at a more comfortable weight for him.

There is a reason they turned down the rematch at 154. Clearly, Roach did not share your optimism.:blood

You think Pac would beat Cotto worse at Jr.MW???!

Yeah, we'll never know, because Pacquiao and Arum ducked a remtach with Cotto at Jr. MW. :think

    Go figure...

Where are all these dumb****s coming from? :patsch

Even though the weight might be a disadvantage for Cotto, You can not ignore the results of the fight based solely on that. Cotto was outboxing Pac until he started getting into exchanges, and got hit with a punch he did not see. Also, Cotto was known for tiring late in fights which could have played a role in the tko loss as well. Boxers fight with disadvantages and distractions all the time, broken hands or cuts.

Then there is the fact that, Cotto has not exactly been vocal about a rematch...I'm just saying.

Cotto said at Jr.MW... Pacquiao said no. Why would Pac fight Margarito at Jr. MW but not Cotto? Why would Pac fight Clottey at 147, but not Cotto?

Is this how Klit Bro fans post on subjects not involving them? Cotto had no real trainer, was forced to fight below his weight class maximum and was using 8oz gloves.. Fighting where he's more comfortable(said he won't drain himself for Pac any more below 150), with a good trainer and larger gloves (less damage & bigger surface area to block) means he'd be beaten worse?

    Why 152? :huh

    Wouldnt stand a chance huh?

    You clown..

Amazing all these *****s trying to make out Cotto was some monster at 154 to fit their agenda.

    1. Cotto is not a 154lb fighter, he fought for years at 140.
    2. Cotto himself said he had no problems and was not drained for the Pac fight.
    3. Styles make fights. Manny would own Cotto at any weight far more than May. Did you even see the first fight? What a beatdown...

He'd obviously stand a chance.. But you're foolish if you believe it would be the same or a worse fight for Cotto.
