Wladimir Klitschko's best win?

  1. So 41 year old Mercer is the same as 31 year old Mercer is what you are saying. Right.

    Gotcha

Gonna write that down for future Lewis cheer leading

  2. Lewis dominated Mike Tyson

    Mike Tyson dominated Larry Holmes

    Larry Holmes dominated Ali.

    Ali dominated everyone else.

    Lewis >then everyone else

**** Klithscko logic works even better when used on Lewis

More like Mercer dropped himself, went down on a knee and took a count.

IMO Chagaev. Chagaev was a great ****in' fighter. Skills for days. But Wlad's size, and ability to keep it on the outside make him look like a B fighter.

Then again, that fight was on 2 weeks notice...tough to train for a Klitschko with so little time.

If whoever fights Vitali next stops him brutally like Wlad did to Mercer in 2001 he'll get no credit from you because Vitali is 41 and past it. :-(

    Gotcha.

The linear champ is not 41. The linear champ is Wladimir Klitschko.
Vitali lost the linear title when he retired. Wlad picked up the linear title with the win over Chagaev.

" The ways that a boxer can lose The Linear title"

    • The champion loses a fight in the weight class in which he is champion.
    • The champion moves to another weight class.
    • THE CHAMPION RETIRES

No I'm pretty sure Holyfield hit him with a left hook on the jaw. That would cause a fighter to go down.

  9. He won't

You see I'm not a k2 hater. I'm just a Lewis fan. So I judge everything fairly when it comes to **** outside Lewis. K2 Haters just hate on anything K2.

If David Haye brutally TKO Vitali later on this year, he gets the line

' Prime Haye >then Old shot Vitali

    Prime Vitali >then Prime Haye

I won't be saying Haye owned Vitali

Vitali is clearly pass prime and even if he wants to retire instead of fighting Haye. Props to him. He did his job as a great champion and role model for all to follow

Best in the sense of the best/most proven heavyweight he defeated: Byrd, clearly, to me.
Best in the sense of performance against one of these better names: I actually might lean toward Chagaev.
Best in the sense of beating someone that matches up hardest against his own skill set and attributes: Peter I, or even arguably Haye, in some ways.

The one I regard the most highly is what I perceive to be his best all-around/most proven opponent- Byrd I.

Brock has a better resume and technical ability than both of those guys.

Peters best performance was against McCline, which is a common opponent for Brock...who also beat McCline.

McCline knocked Brock down once, but was able to knock Peter down several times.

Aside from that, all the big names (except a washed up James Toney) on Peter's resume were losses (including a loss to Chambers).

Haye, as we all know, has done nothing significant at HW. Has zero technical boxing skills and is a giant ***** who doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in serious boxing conversations.

Could you please explain me how Vitaly got linear ?

And please explain how Wladimir got linear with his win over Chagaev when he never held the WBC belt ?

    Sure thing.

Vitali became the Lineal Champ when Lennox retired. Considering his performance against Lennox had him winning on all the cards, that he wanted to continue the fight... Vitali easily proved he was next in line and better than anyone else out there.

When Vitali retired, Wlad became the Lineal Champion. Currently Vital holds the WBC belt..but with Vitali aging and Wlad in his prime, it is simple to see that Wlad would beat Vitali at this stage.

Also, Wlad is easily beating everyone put in front of him at this time. Clearly he is the Lineal Champion.

You do not get lineage by suggestion, you have to prove. Lewis was the last linear champ. When he retired, the next linear champ has to be made by unification. And the title has never been fullly unifiied since Lennox. So there is no linear champ. Wlad may be considered as the best as of now, but he is not linear. Neither was Vitaly (ridiculous to have him linear cause of the loss to Lennox).
