But anyway:

Lennox didn't have it rougher than Tyson.
Lennox had one constant throughout his Life...His Mother. HUGE. Some people ripped on that but I thought that was Pure Class. His Mother seems like a Great Caring Lady.
But he had some things growing up as well that he had to deal with so I"m not saying it was all gravy for him either.

Tyson:
Mother was a Drug addict and a Prostitute who got beaten in front of him and thought her son was a ****** that wouldn't amount to anything (and I'm using similar words that he said himself). She died when Tyson was a teen.
His Father, a Pimp/Hustler, was absent from his life.

Raised in Brownsville back when Brownsville looked like a post-War destruction site.

Teased and beaten up as a kid repeatably. That happens to kids.

But all this was prior to meeting up with D'Amato. Didn't have such a bad life after a certain age unless you count having to deal with immense pressure and still confused on things. As well as having your mentor die while heading to Stardom. But hey, it beats Pre-Catskill. Especially when you live in a big house and have been trained/groomed to be a World Class fighter. Stressful, but if it works out...it's better than working at a place that pays you minimum wage and/or in jail or dead.

And in the end, lots of people have it tough so it's not like Tyson had it the worst. Lots of people have had and have it bad.
