    Corrie Sanders

Mad power, quite quick, coming off ko of wlad. Not properly conditioned though.

    Tomasz Adamek

Everyone's trashing Adamek as a hw but he'd beat everyone he d fought at hw before this (including arreola) and hadn't looked bad

    Danny Williams

    Erm... He beat shot tyson?

    Sam Peter

Comeback after a long lay off.. dominated.. peter was a champion so he wasn't too shot at that point.. although the first wlad fight took a lot out of him

    Herbie Hide

    Away from home.
Herbie hide wasn't a bad fighter.. had some power

    Kirk Johnson

The way vitali DESTROYED johnson was impressive

    Chris Arreola

Undefeated at the time, it was in America as well.

    Odlanier Solis

Personally I don't count this as it was obviously a leg injury that caused the stoppage.

    Dereck Chisora

    Tough, determined young guy

You could mention Juan Carlos gomez, Kevin Johnson but mehhh

Juan Carlos Gomez was a bigger win than most opponents mentioned above.

Herbie Hide is one of the most underrated fighters I can think of.

He had a lot of power and incredible speed. He is a bigger version of Haye able to stand toe to toe with Vitaly - something that Haye would not could never do.

Very exciting fight while it lasted.

Hide's earlier fights before this one were extremely exciting too.

    Unfortunately Vitaly ruined him..

^^ Do you think hide took a dive in that fight? As the right hand didn't connect...

He ain't bigger than Haye mate and Herbie never stood toe to toe with anyone. Just the wind from a punch had his eyes in orbit.

But i agree he could be exciting.

    Herbie Hide

Vitali was European champ coming into the fight, going to London to face the WBO champ, KO'ing him in under 2 rounds

Vitali was the actual underdog and came out and made Peter quit. Vitali's domination against Lewis is also a significant win in my book.
