Hopkins lost twice to Jermain Taylor, who was a green contender
    Wright:
He completely disgraced himself during his fight with Wright, which Wright would of won if the ref clamped down on Hopkins constant holding and headbutting
    Jones II:
Hopkins should of got dqed in that fight for his constant headbutting, rabbitpunching, lowblows and embarrassing overacting
    Calzaghe, Dawson I, Dawson II
Constant use of the head, holding and overacting

All of the above fights show that Hopkins is out of his class when fighting world class fighters. The fact that Tarver and Pavlik lost to that guy should tell you that they are not very good.

    How?
On the flip side Calzaghe beat Kessler and thats it. Everyone else he beat was B level at best.
Toney regularly lost large amounts of weight to make weight for fights. I notice it was never a problem when he was winning but all of a sudden its a major problem when he loses a fight. You dont chase your opponent around the ring for 12 rounds if you are weight drained its not physicaaly possible.

So how do you rate Jones' win over Hopkins? B level? It's probably his second best win.

Do I really have to explain to you how losing big fights hurts your legacy?

Toney was at CW not long before the fight before Jones. Look at Toney's body in that fight, soft around the middle he was clearly out of shape.

I looked at your video, couldn't understand a thing Toney said due to the guy speaking over it. What's your point?

Calzaghe has quantity. Froch has quality.

General Zod chops and changes to suit. He says all these various fighters were past prime yet Kessler with eye trouble was the same fighter and makes out Froch has not been in any tough fights to say Froch is prime when it suits. I dont think he has seen alot of these fights.
When he gets a bit flustered he starts doing his own grading of fighters calling people B level or B+ level to suit his arguement. He jus hates the fact that Wards best win is a Calzaghe leftover when unwell.
Ward has yet to prove himself against a top undefeated SMW and lost a good opportunity against Bute, which many would have viewed as a better win than Froch if he had of won

So if I have Aaron Pryor's career set and have studied every one of his world title fights, I still can't discuss this because I didn't watch him live???!

Why is the footage different if it's watched live as compared to watching it on film?! It's the same footage, it's the same fight.

    :lol::lol::lol:

You are failing HORRENDOUSLY on this thread - even for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know nothing, you three-fights-a-year Sky Sports Calzaghe cumbucket.

Absolutely nothing said here has even come close to refuting any of the points I made in the post you are replying to, so try again:

If you knew anything about Thulane Malinga's career, you'd know that the Reid win was sandwiched between losses to Vincenzo Nardiello (mediocre) and Richie Woodhall (not much better at that point), that Malinga only went 2-2 after this before retirement, and was 42 years old with 10 losses on his record. Taking a post-McClellan Benn to a decision does not make that version of Sugarboy a top fighter, he was significantly better way back in '92 when taking an unbeaten Eubank to an SD.

Froch for sure however....I still Rank the retired undefeated great well ahead of Carl. Based on his longevity and wins against the aging greats. Froch could pull ahead as his career plays out in the next few years. we'll see.

Sakio Bika is a better win than Byron Mitchell. I think Bika would give Froch all sorts of problems, like he did to Calzaghe, Ward and Bute.

I agree somewhat....at least it is comparable. Although at the time all that much wasn't known at he time about Bika. In hindsight it was a pretty good win.
