Thats what makes it a robbery, Marquez clearly won, he was robbed of his win. Close fight or not it was a clear robbery.

  2. Look at these haters. Juan won 4, 5 rounds at MOST.
    Way too inactive and roided.
He had a distracted pacquiao but couldnt take advantage with his chemist

I had it scored even but I could see it 7-5 either way as well. I'd love to sit down with all these guys who had Marquez winning 8 or 9 rounds and have them justify it round by round. That would be hilarious.

Your an idiot. Your idol is the center of debate over PED use in boxing and you post this kind of crap. True *******ation in all its dilusional glory.

I knew the alt was going somewhere to Lewis, but the alt has a point.

There is a difference between a clear but close decision and an obvious, wide decision. At the end of the day a wrong decision is still a wrong decision, but a 7-5 fight is not a robbery.

For the record I had JMM 7-5 with two rounds that I could see going either way; I split them.

I didnt give it to Marquez, I didnt see either guy do much in that last round either what I did see was Manny spit out his mouth piece intentionally in that round the kid was tired.

I gave it to Manny, but the fight over all I gave to Marquez big.

  8. U dont see idol drinking urine on tv.desperate for EPO then bringing a COnvicted distributor who doubles as a chemist in a drug capital as a strength trainer.
U see ? That is more likely than a guy who never failed and uses a legit trainer.

I'm a big Pac fan mate, doesn't change the fact that it was a clear Marquez win.

What rounds did Marquez "clearly" win?

You're right, the thread devolved into a Marquez-Pacquiao **** fest, and nobody's really talking about how that "bad" decision compares to Lewis-Holyfield I.

Every boxing broadcast in the world but the one that had a vested interest in Pacquiao winning (HBO) thought so! :deal

*******s will forever spin every bad performance Pacquiao ever has, but the bottom line here is that there is'nt one clear round that you can point to saying, "Pacquiao definitely won that round," not a ****ing one!

......when that happens and you still get your hands raised, you know you've been gifted and your opponent has been robbed! :deal

I'll repeat, there were a handful of rounds Marquez clearly controlled and dominated, and not a one to point to to say that was a clear Pacquiao round, much less a dominant one.

  13. What did Juanita do to win, very few clear rounds for him.
Pac closed out strong as well. I had it 7-5 live 8-4 both times replay.

eastside boxing uses the words robbery too much.

This was no robbery. just i very close fight.

HBO has been showing it this week... many of the rounds were too close to call. Marquez had his moments but Pac seemed to do enough to win the round. also Pac is the champ... i think you have to beat the champ to get the close decision.

I think manny stewart said it best - Marquez did better than anyone expected and did enough to win the hearts of fans... but thats not the same as winning the fight.

ps. I could have seen it as a draw but i had pac winning. Then after i rewatched this week It just seemed even more like a Pacman win. again I would have been upset with a draw.
