Yeah we all know this. You like to wear people down just like Wlad
dont you. How bout your favorite win ya jackass? (Sandler reference)
I voted Peter, although my personal fave is Brewster 2. Wlad hit
Brewster with everything but the kitchen sink in the first fight, then
ate 3 left hooks and got owned. Second fight Wlad dominated until
Brewsters face was a bloody pulp, very impressive.

    Wlad was poisoned.

    Check out this thread:

Brewster was getting destroyed in the first fight. He doesn't deserve any credit for beating a poisoned Wlad.

In the rematch, Wlad dominated every second of every round and made Brewster quit.

this is pathetic..... a CW who talked his way into a HW championship fight and a blown up middleweight.

I think his best win was against Peter. even though Peter is limited he is a dangerous puncher and Wlad survived 3 knoockdowns to get the decision. This fight helped Wlad overcome some demons.

still a **** poor career best win and a **** poor resume... but what can you do when there is no true contenders?

OK I will. Lennox Lewis was the linear champ after the win over Briggs regardless of the WBC belt. The Ring Magazine stopped giving out championships during Holyfield's second reign but started it again with Lennox Lewis and JOINED the linear title with the Ring title. Therefore, anyone who held the Ring's heavyweight title was the linear and legitimate HW champion. Lennox retired and the linear/Ring title was vacated. Vitali Klitschko was the Ring's top contender and he fought the Ring's #2 contender Corrie Sanders to make a new linear/Ring champion. Sanders became #2 contender with his TKO win over Wladimir Klitschko. Vitali beat Sanders to become linear and then Vitali retired due to injury thus vacating the linear/ring title again. Wladimir won the linear/ring title with his win over #2 contender Rulsan Chagaev. Wlad has been undefeated since then and is still the Ring champion and Linear champion.

5 of the 7 fighters you mentioned as his best wins are really not HW's. Most of them either lacked the diet to make CW or more likley moved to to HW to get a bigger check.

    Thompson is a true HW
    and
Peter is a true HW (out-of-shape however)

    No! you dont understand.

by what you are saying Chris Byrd should have been the linear champ when Vitali lost that fight.

No! which is why Wlad will never be considered an all timer. He was the best of the worst. I think is he would have taken on all comers and had fights more than once/twice a year and destroyed everyone in Tyson like fashion he would get more props.

instead we get fights like wlad vs iggy. wlad dominated even though he seemed scared to throw a punch.

I didn't vote because they're all good wins for different reasons. You could say the Mercer, McCline, Byrd II, Brewster II, Peter II and even the absolute beating of Barrett were also good wins.
