I already explained how he got his nickname, Rigondeaux said it himself in an interview. Ignore this prankster ...

 I had no Idea he got his name from the Chacal on "Sabado Gigante" that eliminates weak contestants who lack skills.

De principio piense que ibas a decir que le decian el Chacal porque estaba igual de oscuro. Pero si Rigondeaux a eliminado muchos boxeadores con trompetasos al cuerpo!

I can't even give Teon a punchers chance, being that he's not a big power puncher. Looking over Teon's resume, it's hard not to fore see Rigondeaux taking him to school. :bbb

    Asi es!

I didn't think about the color similarities with the TV Chacal but it also makes sense as Rigo is as dark in color. I didn't know you knew that show! Now his nickname makes a lot more sense, he " eliminates " contestants who " lack " skills to hang around with him! Y yo que pensaba que el se habia puesto el Chacal por un Jackal ( the real animal ). :yep

Pa pa pa pan pa pa, Teon, you are disqualified, next ???!!! :hey

    Saludos! ;)

Really ?, I mean sure Kennedy is game as a ****er, and he's a tough ****er too. But his defence is fairly poor, his speed and reflexes are average enough and he's not a puncher. One of his main assets is his workrate and that could actually work against him here, as he'll leave Rigo would an abundance of opportunities to counter.

Kennedy is fine at that USBA/NABA/NABF/NABO level, but when the transition is made up to World level he's found wanting, and when you look at a guy like Rigo who is far above that ordinary World level, well then you've got problems.

As many others have predicted, another bodyshot ko for Rigo, this doesn't go 6 either and Teon doesn't win a round. He'll come forward and give it his best though, and won't allow this one to be too boring for however long it lasts.

Rigo is really sending the shits up these Asians. If Donaire would beat him easily, he should fight him after Rigo wins. The only fighter more deserving of a shot would be Nishioka.

All he has to do is land one shot on that Fragile Cuban Glass Jaw and it's a wrap. Rigondeaux has no Chin. None.
