have noticed that when he clinches or ties up of get tied up big george will PUSH his oppenent away fromw him. has he ever pushed anyone down with this tactic? if so who and when? did it count as a knockdown or not?
He pushed Kirkman over, it was not coutned as a knockdown but it shook Kirkman up mentally and he got crushed.
It was part of his defence, and was pretty clever, using his mass to at least tire his opponent, to save them ancient legs a bit.
i was thinking this today, i cant think of an instance where foreman hugged/grabbed. another tactic in his come back that i liked was the cross arm defence, and when it got too much he would walk with his cross arm defence into the opponent to get them off him.
he used the cross arm before his comeback i know im just saying this to point it out before someone corrects me.
He also used the tactic of pushing the opponents arms back at the elbows, for defense, like Bob Foster. The man had under-rated skills, like a quick, solid jab when he decided to use it, against Ron Lyle.
