Find a bigger puncher lol. I don't see anyone outboxing him so they know a find someone who can take everything that floyd dishes out and just wing blows for 12 rounds until one hits the mark and maybe floyd can't recover.

    I disagree with this:

It's true that the jab is a shot that everyone knows and expects. It's also true that Mayweather loves to shoot straight right hands over jabs, with techniques like the pull counter. This doesn't mean the jab should be disregarded, though -- I still think it can be the key shot to deal with Mayweather. The shoulder-roll thrives on dealing with power shots and looping punches, which can be anticipated and rolled. The jab, however, is short, simple, and travels in a straight line -- it's harder to see coming, and it also serves to set up the power shots. Hoya and Cotto had success with it, particularly the latter, and Marquez feinted a jab to set up a right hand that caught Mayweather at the ropes. Judah also used the jab to set up the straight left that stunned Mayweather in round 4. (It was a 1-1-2 combination.) Mosley only landed two big punches against Mayweather (right hands), and both of them were set up with the jab.

Aside from that, I thought that was definitely an interesting read. I also agree with the writer in that a defensive boxer could give Mayweather problems, particularly at this stage of his career.

I agree. until Floyd's reaction fades, it is very hard to hit him with power shots. The jab is about the only thing quick enough to hit him with.

I have always felt the only type of boxer that has a great chance to beat Floyd would be a slick, solid defensive fighter who can adjust.

He's an ATG. It would take another prime ATG to beat him.

    With regards to what style.

Lots of Styles. Leonard could out box hi. Durham could rough him up. Hearns would out jab him and probably KO him.

They'd all beat him in there differant styles

every fighter is beatable...including floyd mayweather jr.

cotto was effective in spots and showed the base of how he can be beat.

Cotto fight wasn't even top form Floyd Jr style, though it was top form Floyd Jr.

35 year old Floyd coming off long laid off is most definitely beatable. I don't think anyone can beat Floyd when he was in prime at 130-140 when he was just all over the place boxer puncher mode with a lot of feet movement.

    finely written article

I disagree with Amir and emmanuel having decent styles to challenge Mayweather. They're wildcard fighters who struggle like hell against counterpunching.

Sexy Sergio on the other hand:yep

jeff mayweather said that he thought his nephew may have lost 10 rds total in his career. imo, 5 of those rounds were to cotto.

cotto worked the body and beat the arms and shoulders to get clean head shots. he hit floyd more than floyd has ever been hit in a fight. he also held floyd to a low connect percentage. he applied intelligent pressure and set up shots. that's what u have to do to beat floyd. cotto didn't do it consistently enough to win...but he did it enough to trouble floyd and land plenty of clean punches. that was the toughest fight of floyds career.

i would have loved to see him fight casamayor, frietas...and guys like that. floyd was something special between 130 and 140. the shane fight would have been much more meaningful back then. that floyd was amazing.
