But seriously, I don't really get why the 3 of you are on carrera's case. Is it only because of his post where he says there's not much to say about Bute for now? 'Cause I somehow agree with him. Bute fans have been criticised of being too vocal about Bute, and now that our boy got his ass handed to him, y'all got what you wanted : Bute fans are more quiet (I know there are still some delusional ones, but less than before I guess..). Besides, it's true that there isn't much to say for now.

I enjoy the Bute fans being on regularly,and you can even learn something from the more level headed.Remember no one could understand why I felt a bit sad when the fight was announced? it was because I knew we'd never have quite the same fun we used to.:-(
But as much as you're my pal Cloudz,I'm not breaking down the Carrera thing.Sorry mate,and I know things can get a bit lost in translation,but read it over and you'll see the guy's comedy gold.Explaining it would ruin it completely.

what Bute fans have actually returned to the site? guys like Drozzie, Laffie, Beastside. The only one ive seen is Decebal.

Pretty **** for them not to come back ffs , they can't take it all that seriously. Like are they that embarrassed or depressed? Pretty gay either way imo.

Beastside is STILL wearing that ridiculous photoshop Ring cover.
I'm quite gutted Drozzy hasn't been on more,and Laffie was first to put his head on the block.He earned a ton of respect from the general(I was his pal for ages before the fight was announced!:tong:tong)
I don't want to be shitty.These guys were a good laugh and this is why I was worried the fight would have bad side effects.(I'm ****in hot with the predictions this weather)
And I have to hand it to my old sparring partner Decebal.He got it uber tight and stuck around and took it like a trooper.
Cloudz,Sabs,MJK and a few others came on and took it like men(Where's Badlok?:fireI always stuck up for him!)

I wasn't really involved in the build war before the fight because I didn't have a laptop at hand remember, so I don't really know the last 3 you mention tbh Drozzy was alright even though he tried to stick it on me once and Laffie had the best knowledge of boxing out of them all from what I saw. I know Badlok from the lounge mostly, funny ****er, his English ain't the best either, which just shows his sense of humour.

 

I think Drozzy's ego took a hit.

 

On an internet forum, because his favorite fighter lost and he spoke big of him? Come on man, ****ing ridiculous.

I was on this site from 2007 as a lurker, I started to post a little about Bute and the 168 in general after that. Maybe it's my academic background, but I always try to talk about things I think I know about. Obviously I didnt know enough about Bute, but that's another story. So I'm going a little more in the lurking mode again.

 

I agree with you that the "elite" word is often misused. In my sport (swimming) I'm coaching some swimmers on the national level 16h a week and they are not elite. Elites are going to Olympic in this case, elites in boxing are the handful best on each division.

 

Really feeling that bad just because your fighter lost :huh, if Froch had lost that fight I'd be on here the next day talking about balls and ****.
