Prime Tommy Hearns in today's era. How many Divisions can he clean out?

    Honestly? I say 3


    147 154 and 160

    I don't think Hearns will clean out SMW. Too strong of a division atm. Hard to tell though with today's nutritions and training. Hearns at 6'1 6'2 can easily fill out to 175 pounds of muscles.


    His chin is not a issue, nobody is even close to a big puncher from 147-175.

    I say Hearns will brutally Ko everyone from 147-154.

    Brutally.

    Dead Cotto, Dead Lara, Dead Manny, Dead Floyd, Dead Victor.


    But at 160+ he will have some issues

    He's too talented for this version of Floyd at 147, and no one 147-168 has the tools. The guy with the best chance is Dawson at 175, and even that's questionable. I do think he was hit or miss above 154 though.

    If Tommy Hearns had been blessed with an Iron Chin, today he would have a legitimate case for being called the GOAT.

    Without those wars against Leonard and Hagler, the Hitman would have had a longer prime. I think he would have handled the move up in weight even easier, and would dominate 147-160, and would be a legit threat at 168-175.

    Lara is not in his class yet. I think Tommy stops Lara. I think Lara is being a little overrated now because of his win over Ronald Hearns. Ronald is a decent contender but not the championship quality, and certainly not the ATG quality of his father Thomas Hearns.

    Tommy's chin wasn't that bad he just gassed against SRL and blasted out by the best MW ever so he gets remembered that way.

    IF he moved up earlier too CW he could probably clean that **** division out too. the problem the first go round was that he was shot to **** by the time he made that far. only real problem I say is dawson @ 175 and Ward @ 168.

    He takes 147-160 no problem, 168 Ward is tricky but zero power and froch has power but zero tricks (lol). Dawson has a chance because he would have youth on his side (hearns had a lot of ring wars by the time he reached that weight). At CW he was shot to **** and fought only fringe contenders back then . . . but if he started earlier he could beat most of the bums (top fighters) in that division

    correct on all counts. for some reason, I imagine that it would be a good fight while it lasted though, with lara's defensive slickness, and tommy's susceptibility to right hand bombs.

    eASILY IN today's era.

    He did it during his era.


    I duno about CW though. I think at LHW Dawson will give him issues.

    I don't know if he can make it past SMW even. But from 147-154 he will literally clean house.

    It will be one highlight KO of another. ******s like Amir Khan

    and Glass face cOTTO WILL be all dead and pissing blood. Drowning in their own feces
