I have no intentions of being a troll but I just want to understand How did any1 see tarver truly winning the fight?

If Im wrong with my logic of how I beleive that Kayode should have gotten the win Please just school me and explain why.

In my opinion I thought Kayode won from rounds 1 through 7.

and yes I will give him the 7th round because Tarver landed one good shot in round and for some reason people are giving him all of round 7 Rounds 10 and 11 were kayode rounds too.

He landed more punches on tarver than tarver landed on kayode and it was kayode who was backing up most of the fight.

I just dont see how people are saying tarver won this fight and I would go as far as to say tarver got outboxed.

I dont know I'm happy with a draw, I had Tarver winning one of the earlier rounds, and then winning rounds 6 to 12 minus 1 round. So really I gave Tarver 6 rounds. In the end, he beat Kayode up late in the fight, hit him really hard and stunned him on about 3 different occasions.

Neither guy did enough to "win" the fight. A draw was the best outcome here.

ok heres what I dont get.

why is it that one shot defines a round.

lets say me and you were to fight each other for 1 round.

and you land 5 clean jabs on me. but I land some powerful left uppercut that rocks you and haves you wobbling and shaking a lil but theres no standing 8 count. but you make it out of the round. YOU STILL WON THE ROUND!!! you won the fight.

lets say it was a 12 round fight and you still out land me but I rock you each round.

    you still win the fight.

    you still controlled the fight.

    the winner should be you.

    the point being

I dont care what kind of shot tarver landed he should had lost the fight.

    SIMPLE!!!

Kayode Landed More punches on tarver Backing up.

Kayode landed some good punches on tarver by setting some of them up.

    And hold up.
    whats their occupations? Boxers right?
I dont give a **** whos more technically sound than who If your fighting some 1 and your clearly more effective and outlanded your opponent then you outboxed him. I dont care what kind of ****ing punches you threw at that guy to win the fight.

Some people have unorthodox fighting styles but yet theyre very good.

Some people didnt call what prince naseem was doing in the ring boxing, but he still won all but 1 of his fights.

same for pascal vs dawson. people think pascal is a wild punching ****ing idiot. but he was effective wasnt he?

Sakio bika, Weird as hell but is effective.

neither one of them should have clearly won the fight. there simply was not enough done on either side to get the win. kayode will learn from this and become a better fighter because of it, but tarver, if he would've put his foot on the pedal earlier, would have won it.

true maybe tarver would had likely won if he had his foot on the gas earlier.

or maybe it would had been kayode comming stronger in the early rounds.

Im not tryna say whose the better fighter overall because Personally Id much rather have tarvers skillset than kayodes.

but based on what I saw during that fight and based on what I saw on compubox. Kayode should have gotten the belt.

I mean, I respect your opinion but I dont think either of them did enough for the win. regarding the fight though, I was surprised at how tarver wasn't gassed or breathing hard at all during the latter part of the fight especially the championship rounds, whereas kayode was breathing heavily out of his mouth.

he took rounds off plus even when kayode was backing up he wasnt putting too much effort in trying to "chase" him

It wasn't just about the 1 shot Tarver landed to me......Kayode landed almost nothing of note the 2nd half of that fight. Tarver dictated the action, the pace, hurt his opponent on multiple occasions and managed to pick off almost all of Kayode's shots in the process.

It was far from a dominant performance, but to me it was a close but clear win for Tarver.

I gave him 1 of the early rounds and almost all the late rounds. I think the judges bought into Kayode's silly histrionics during the fight as well. But he was the one getting hurt, not his opponent.

A draw wasn't outrageous at all, nor would a win for either guy, but I think a draw was more generous to Kayode than to Tarver.

#1 scoring criteria= clean EFFECTIVE punching. If the rounds tied in clean effective punching you go to criteria number 2 which is EFFECTIVE aggression if they're still tied you go to criteria number 3 which is Ring Generalship- something Kayode exhibited absolute zero of.....if they're still tied you go to criteria number 4 which is defense- again something Kayode showed zero of.

Kayode did very little of each that were effective. Tarver's lack of activity definetly ruined a few of the early rounds for him but c'mon son.....Kayode's a walking punching bag and got bullied by a lazy old man. Kayode landed nearly nothing clean so there goes criteria number 1 in most rounds, also showed agression at time but none of it was effective so there goes criteria number 2....you get the picture.
