Here's a thought, rather then just posting a vid, and making a few statements that make you sound more like a spoiled brat, post in detail WHY you believe he's the greatest. You try to pull that "I'm the least biased poster" **** the other day, then do this and expect to be taken serious? :-(

What was Mayweathers best win again Corrales, Oscar. Those pale in comparison to beating a prime undefeated Foreman, and one of the greatest heavyweights of all time Joe frazier.

 

Robinson had of two hundred Pro fights...are you really going to make me put up the numbers?

 

All i said was that he didn't fight in the best era for the lower wights, which was the 80s.

 

No way is he the GOAT. To do that, you need to convincingly beat other greats in their prime time and time again, which he has not done.

The two best wins on his resume are Corrales and a very faded DLH. His next best win is probably Cotto. Then the ancient Mosley.

Everyone acknowledges his skills. Most objective observers will say he has generally failed to go out of his way to forge a strong legacy of consistently fighting top-level opposition. His legacy is far inferior to what his skills indicate he should logically be capable of. Floyd himself has said "Legacy doesn't pay bills." He might be right there, but it's impossible to call anyone who says things like that a GOAT candidate. The fact there's a strong chance he'll finish his career without fighting Pacquiao or Martinez, after earlier missing several big names on his way up the weights, and then electing to sit out fighting through a crowded welterweight field with that fake retirement horse**** from 2008-2009 are all damning indictments against his legacy.

His legacy is that of a supremely talented, skilled fighter who could make insane amounts of money without fighting often or taking the biggest challenges. So he picked the money over the legacy. He'll retire a very wealthy man, but everyone knows there's a lot missing from his legacy. He's never beaten a prime great, or even a close-to-prime great.

 

But, what he did do is give you a large enough body of work for most to agree that he is the best to have laced up a pair of gloves. Floyd's undefeated but with the weak Era and the small body of work, I'm just not ready to say he is the best to have ever done it.
