Froch is a real man, what every man truely wants to be rather than someone hiding behind a desk and a shitscreen. It must annoy Calzaghe that he cannot ever go back and do what Froch is doing, but he made his choice he must now live with his spin doctoring the zero losses whilst other SMWs will force him further and further down the pecking order till one days hes out of the top ten SMWs.

... as long as they dont beat their heroes, that is ;)

On a serious note, Froch must be one of the most fan friendly fighters active right now. Really looking forward to see him fight Kessler in a re-match next.

You probably dont believe this stuff yourself.

Calzaghe could have done more to get a fight with a prime Jones, but it's not like Jones was easy to negotiate with. Save that Cal fought those available. The hate for him on ESB is weird, and reflects the hate against Floyd or Pac recieves from some posters.

could have, should have and did, thats the difference. I lost a bit of respect for Zaghes when I saw him whooping with joy after beating shot Jones, terrible thing to do. u didnt see Holmes whooping like he was some superhero after clubbing Ali.

Hey dont get me wrong, I am a Calzgahe fan, and it will be sad to see him move down the pecking order from the lofty number 2 he maintains now down to 3 when Ward surpasses him and further when more do the same one day. Hell, even Froch may surpass his SMW record if he gets a move on with his life.

You like him because he lost to Ward and had a tough fight with Dirrell, and cant stand Calzaghe because he beat American legends Jones and Hopkins and beat all of the top American SMWs of his era.

no, Calzaghe is English born. check his passport since you are so close to hmi, its English. Fighting in England is home for him. In fact he gets two fanbases by fighting in England, his fellow england ones and his adopted Welsh contigent who can megabus down to Wembley for £2.50 to follow all his fights easypeasy. Two fanbaes, so you are doubly wrong, not even half right. So most of his titles fights are home for him. Get this into your skull now, no one is repeating this again either.

So you think a title belt makes the fighter :patsch. So Barrera for holding the WBO belt against Morales holding the WBC, must have been a less relevant fighter to you with that outlook?
Well then read this part again
This is the WBA & WBC SMW title
Now look at the list of champs in each and who they defended against and you can see that the WBO SMW title has produced the best defences overall better than all of the other govening bodies in this particular weight division so far.
Consider how much critism Bute gets now for his IBF defences.
Consider M Beyer defending his WBC title against 26-14-5 fighter who was coming off of a win against a 0-2-0 fighter
Or that Mundine when defending the WBA title against a 24-13-5 fighter who was the same fighter that WBC champ Beyer was defending against above.
    --------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah you praise the belt. shame Pac holds the WBO WW title
