Kevin Johnson (26-1-1) Tor Hamer (15-1) Marcelo Luiz Nascimento (16-3) Maurice Harris (25-16-2) Albert Sosnowski (46-4-2) Nourredine Meddoune (4-1) Tom Dallas (15-2) Tom Little (3-0) I would be amazed if Johnson didn't win this now. **** poor line up containing 4 UK based fighters, this is what you end up with when you do things at short notice. Where are the decent contenders who can't get fights (like Mike Perez last time out)? Johnson vs Harris final unless they get drawn together earlier. Tor Hamer is a decent outside bet. The British guys have no chance, way too inexperienced.
:happy:happy Even if I need to mug a few pensioners and cash in my kids' savings accounts there's no way I'm missing th...:zzz:zzz:zzz
Safetypin will win this, no doubt. Of course things can go wrong like with Hide at CW or we can have terrible judging again, but this looks like it will be handed to Johnson on a silver platter.
I agree, but none of the other guys there hit hard enough to give him any real trouble apart from Hamer and possibly Sosnowski and Meddoune, but those 3 are all too inexperienced (apart from Sosnowski who has just looked **** lately but could probably do well in this if he tried).
Also, people calling this a walk for Johnson clearly don't know enough about Sugar Mo Harris. :nono I'd call him the #2 seed out of this group; with proper scoring he can take three rounds from anyone else on that list.
king pin is without a doubt the best boxer here...but this is 3 round fights..surly his style dosnt suit it??
Wasn't Tor Hamer a decent prospect? I seem to remember him doing pretty well as an amateur, which should come in handy in this format. Might be worth a few quid anyway because even though Johnson is the best fighter there, his style doesn't really suit a three round fight.
