Tyson Fury's July 7th Opponent: Ruslan Chagaev

Do you think this'd be too much of a step up for Fury? If they're serious about moving to world title level this could be a perfect fight for Fury, a faded former belt holder and current fringe level contender :think

 

I'd probably get fury to fight someone like mormeck or fields first

 

I think even current Chagaev takes him out.

 

fury is way below this level at the moment.
hes getting there slowly and he has time on his side. Make the audley fight as another profile booster and then bring the likes of mormeck over

Would love to see Fury step up but that simply isn't going to happen. He blatantly ducked Price, there is no way he would face a fighter of Chagaev's quality. He will probably follow the Arreola school of getting title shots. Fight journeymen and unknowns until the Klits have cleaned everyone else out and then have to fight him. Chagaev would beat him if it ever did happen.

I think with the BBBofC safety standards they won't let Chagaev fight over here even if he does have the all clear from the GUM clinic.
