Any chance of it getting moved back? Or are they simply going to decline JS?

Pavlik should avoid this fight. This is a bad BAD matchup stylewise for Pavlik.

Not sure at this point. Kelly seems to be really focused on getting back to where he was. If you recall, Kelly fought tooth and nail to even get a title shot at 160, so he's not opposed to earning it the hard way.

I thought I had heard that he was recently calling out Froch. This would be a clear path, no?

He was/ is. According to the IBF it is. However, this is boxing and Kelly has the weight of Top Rank and Cameron Dunkin behind him.

Top Rank won't allow this. Stevenson has been putting people to sleep and has been showing real improvement under Steward, then in Montreal as well? They can make as much money and hype with a safer fight like Edwin Rodriguez or Don George.

Miranda was putting "people to sleep" pre-Pavlik.

Ah.... the business end of things. Sometimes I'd like to give the business end of boxing the business end of my arse.

    Thanks.

It's always about the almighty dollar. A Pavlik v. Froch fight in AC will be a sellout. Where (at this point) is Stevenson going to out asses in seats. Answer... no where.

That fight would need to be in the UK.

Howdy stranger. Came back now that the Calzombies are Frochettes? This is the first I've heard there was a date associated with this. Yeah, turn around is a little short on this. Also, you through me. The guy is Canadian and they seem to have good fight fans. Not sure if he could get people down to AC or not though.

    Hey Herm,

I've always said that the two most beatable guys at 168 for Kelly are Froch and Bute. I would keep Kelly as far away from Ward and Dirrell (maybe not so much now) as possible.

JT was 14 secs away from handing Froch an L. I know, horseshoes and hand gernades... But if Kelly hit Froch the way Taylor did, Froch would be nothing more than a memory.

Hope all is well. Me and the Team are heading to the Boxing Hall of Fame tomorrow. Looks like an August show for us.
