My two cents on the Bradley-Pacquiao "intimidation" hysteria.

Does anyone else see a tense Bradley and a very relaxed Manny Pacquiao ready to do battle?

We all know putting relentless pressure on Manny could end up backfiring in so many ways. And with all this built up nervous energy in Bradley, am I the only one seeing Bradley coming out very tense and perhaps getting caught cold?

I've got Bradley by decision should he maintain his gameplan on the night and be able to frustrate Manny with movement, but I definitely see much nervous energy in him, so I definitely could see Manny destroying him.

I just realized this is a pretty lame thread and weigh ins / press conferences don't impact the fight.

    Saving this shite.

Enjoy the fight saturday night folks.

Bradley isn't stupid and isn't going to put pressure on Manny until after he feels he has timing down.

There's more pressure on Tim than he's ever had before.

This is the big stage, this is a first for him and Manny's been here before.

I'm thinking Bradley should rise to the occasion, but I also see him tense and nervous, something that could very well be his demise.

I'm actually loving this intimidation, and mean psyche from Bradley. . . He's talking ****; talking headliners by the hour, and I love it! Pacquiao is the cordial, studious, respectful, and silent one. . . It's just in his nature, and how he was raised in the filipino culture. . . I HATE it when opponents like Mosley are all huggy-huggy, and trying to touch his glove three times a ****ing round. . . I'm glad Bradley actually wants to get down and dirty, and try to beat the brakes off Pacman. . That's how you bring out PACSMASH!

    Cause Pacsmash like to SMASH!

Seriously - when fight is announced, shake hands at the initial press conferece. . . Say a few respectful things about your opponent. . But from then on out, it's WAR. . . That man is your enemy. . . Then come fight night touch gloves when the ref says, and touch gloves as you come out for round one. . Then try to take his head off for 12 rounds, and congratulate him, and his team win, or lose post-fight

hahah I still remember Khan/Maidana. . . Khan went to touch gloves with Maidana, and Maidana tried to cold **** him. . Hahahah Roy said "Khan went to touch gloves, and THIS CAT goes at Khan"! But then a few minutes later, we saw what happened. . Khan had Maidana rolling around on the canvas, wincing in pain, clutching at his stomach like a ***** with bad menstrual cramps. . That's getting PWNED.

I guarantee that he is all those things, but he won't act on those emotions. He is a very very disciplined guy who will follow his game plan and listen to his coach.

If he comes out with pressure it would be because that was his game plan not because of nerves or anything like that. I believe Tim is shooting for the later rds to start openning up.

Expect Bradley to test the waters in the first round and run for the rest.

If he goes to war, Pac by KO.

From the sounds of things....Tim is going into this fight with the idea that he's going to move AWAY from his typical style and incorporating one that utilizes more movement and footwork since may feel PAC has problems with movement. It could work....if everyone who says PAC can't handle movement is right...or...it could back fire as a tiger doesn't change his stripes over night.

Sticking to what has gotten him to this level is what most would do if they were Tim....but Tim seems to think he needs to adjust his style to have a chance at beating PAC. This is a very intriguing fight. I'm really excited for this one when I wasn't initally.

If he is successful at this, then he could very well be the next superstar.

There are not many fighters who are truly able to stay disciplined at the biggest stage.

That is the definition if a professional, he should be able to perform under any weather (circumstance), under whatever emotions.

Bradley looked like that for the Alexander and Witter presser nothing new, he is in fight mode.

I got him in a UD as well, what confirmed it for me was his fight with Peterson, sure we have Alexander, and other fights but that specific fight you can see the man had a game plan and stuck to it.

First half he attacked came forward and went to the body while countering Petersons lazy jab.
Second half he boxed the **** out of Lamont, had Lamont looking like a deer stuck in the headlights

    The kid has skills

Nobody can take away the fact that the kid has a great toolbox at his disposal.

When he fought Alexander, you're right.. he did look a bit tense aswell, and I think he fought with nervous energy, the difference is Alexander is not able to strike the way Pacquiao is, at mid and close range, with fighters coming at him.

Alexander has a great uppercut, and that was completely nullified by Timmy's relentless pressure, Pacquiao has a wider range of short hooks and dangerous explosive close- distance punches.

I can't wait for this fight personally, I think Tim's chin is going to be really tested on the night.

He will be tested in every category come saturday night, I think the two shots he must worry about is Mannys left Uppercut as he comes in, and also Mannys turning that left hand over to a left hook as he did with Ricky Hatton.

if he can avoid those two shots, I dont think we will see him on the canvas.
Gosh this has the feel of douglas tyson doesnt it, what are the odds in Vegas?
