Hard for some of us Klittards to understand the concept of prime, seeing as how the top 2 HWs on the planet are 36 and 41 respectively. Both have well over 40 fights(Wlad is fighting #61) and both are as good or close to as good as they were 8 yrs ago when they entered their primes.

But, nobody forced him to foul Bowe constantly over two fights. The same goes for Po'uha, Nicholson or any other fighter he decided to bite or **** thump.

He was talented yes, but lets have it right, he was a dirty cheating ****. You also need the mental fortitude to dominate, not just a good offensive arsenal.

 

As for current HWs who beat a prime Golota......

I'd take Rodriguez to starch him. Malik to outbox him. Welliver to beat him via DQ when Golota goes fouling. And that is 3 HWs who are generally considered fringe at best.
Arreola mauls him. And I hate Arreola. Solis:yep a clinic and then a mauling. HayeI guess it would depend if he wanted to shatter him some glass or box defensively, either way he would dominate prime Golota. Helenius would destroy him and so would Chisora. Potvetkin, IDK:think....tough fight to call since their styles are so similar...Sasha has the chin and skill adv, but Golota would have a slight edge in power. Chambers would clown him, and Adamek, if his chin held up would as well. Mitchell KO1-3 if he don't get stopped himself in the 1st or second(see Grant vs PRIME Golota)

Go ahead and call Lewis the GOAT. It's very possibly history may be agreeable, but let's not try to cover **** with perfume and call it a rose.
