Bute's ability has never been in question for me Des,even after the fight. It's his head that I'd be worried about. That could be one of those defeats.
Bute KO in 15 seconds or less. There is no way Bute lets this guy survive for more than that. Just no way. Just no f*cking way, I tell ya!! No, but really though. Froch by ****, again!
The Fact that Froch looked like he had Prime Mike Tyson's power from the very first punch that landed doesn't make you worried about his Chin? Bute is not going to amount to much of anything. He got his record by staying at home fighting B-level at best, but mostly F-level competition and when he stepped up to a World Class fighter he had his Glass Jaw shattered. He padded his record when he should have been trying to figure out a way to pad that abysmal Chin.
I've always figured he beats most SMW's outside the main three. The only shock was how poor he looked. He's still about where I had him, except he looked to me as if he lost something you never get back that night.
You might very well be right. But personally, I don't buy the idea that he was beaten before he stepped in the ring, or that it was a bell to bell beating. He fought just fine in the 1st, then again in the 2nd until he got hurt. But what he got hurt with is what concerns me. None of the shots seemed particularly damaging until Froch started teeing off. I also think it may have shocked him that Froch took his best shots and not only stayed up, but shook it off and brought some noise o his own. I can imagine that would be quite demoralizing to a guy who's KO'd some pretty sturdy fighters. As you said, It may not be something he can recover from. But for different reasons.
All right. As Interbox claimed, in order to make this fight, which proved to be ultimately very glourious for Froch, they have yielded succesfully regarding some aspects of the match:location, first.Team Froch strongly affirmed they won`t do the fight outside England. You remember the negociatians started in January and at some point stoped.Secondly, money. Its a difference between 10 000 and 18 000 spectators.Besides, 7 P.M. is a litttle less than 10-11 P.M. regarding pay-per-view in Canada.Consequently, the purse was smaller for the champion as would have been home.Thirdly:fight conditions. The English host got some other favourable conditions:internal location and ring size. The English part insisted for Notingham, though, at some point, The Canadian side would have insisted and got a stadium in Manchester where would have had more sustainance from Romanian imigrants. The only things the Canadians got was : that both sides to agree the componence of the jury and the referee and the champion to have gloves at his own wish. But these two things were paid by the Canadians by yielding the internal location condition, meaning accepting the challenger hometown. Why Interbox accepted all these conditions?Despite Froch big mouth that IBF champion is hidding, the English side threatened the Canadians they won`t make the fight regardless Froch was designed mandatory challenger. So, the fact that the IBF champion who was at the beggining of Super Six the longest-term uninterrupted champion in SMW (two years at that time) didn`t count for un invitation neither count in order to get better fight agreements now when he has still undefeated and being 4 years and a half champion.Let`s remember Abraham got a fight on neutral field and Direll, who came in England was just a hope and had to accepot to travel. Now is the main conclusion: The Canadian side wouldn`t have accepted all these demands without getting a basic condition; rematch at wish, in case of defeat, no matter how happends. Is what you "doubt". Al I tried to say is Froch got a fight with a champion which normally wouldn`t had got and with conditions that himself wouldn`t have accepted as a champion. Now, some people here say: Oh, was KO-ed, what do they want anymore? If the rematch is this year, it`s obviously who will be proved right regarding this subject.
Thanks.Clear as mud. Only kidding:goodI was never disputing that the rematch clause was in place,I was only disputing the imputation that Froch was basically at the mercy of Interbox.I know they have options too,but your wording suggested Bute was in complete control of Froch's next move, and whilst I again acknowledge the options they have,I thought you were laying it on a bit too thickly. Are we cool?:think
This. However,Bute's promoter will want one last payday at the expense of Bute. They probably figure he owes them that.
Bute just doesn't have the tools to keep Froch from raping him. Froch now realizes the Bute Bootay is open for the taking, and will not be the least bit hesitant about bending him over this time.
I don't like how people write Bute off. I know and hope that he'll make the rematch more close than you think. Bute is no bum. :hat
If he gets his head together,he can easily fend Carl off for at least 7 or 8 rounds this time.:deal And you know I can be more careful than I like to let on.:bart
