Antonio Margarito has Retired

The cheating, if true, was shameful. Having taken that into account, he gave us many entertaining fights.

 

I'm all for being a HUGE fan of a fighter that inspires you, or that you look at as a role model whose style you enjoy watching... You know very well Lance that I was a HUGE ODLH fan...

But I think these fans both Pac fans and Mayweather Fans have taken their nuthuggery to another level where they cannot, will not tolerate anyone being even a little critical of their guy... They seem to need to act as if they are perfect in every way.

Did Mayweather get called out in Public by Margarito? Yes

Did Mayweather look and sound like a punk? Yes

Deal with it guys... Don't hate on Tony for that... **** happens... Mayweather still has the better legacy and more money... So he made a wrong choice in avoiding Tony... l'm sure if he could do it over again, he would have taken Tony's challenge, but he didn't.

You're trying to make this into something thats not even the issue...The big issue is why should people show respect to a guy that puts foreign objects into his gloves to gain advantage??? Boxing is already a dangerous sport in which fighters have died from going to war... What if he was never caught and end up seriously hurting an opponent?? Funny! he gets caught cheating,has a few fights in which he gets his ass handed to him and then he quits. He felt he could no longer fight at the level he needed. I think that comes from the fact he didn't feel invincible without the wraps. It's all pschyological with fighters. once they feel they've lost an edge they are done. Same goes for Margo.

 

Nobody hates Margarito because of what happened between him and Mayweather... How people tie Mayweather into EVERYTHING is amazing, you guys give the dude WAY more credit than he deserves. Margarito was a brick fist using *******, that's why people hate him.
