A brawler is someone who sacrifices a good deal of defense in order to land his own punches at any cost. Fighters of Duran's caliber don't fit that category. There is a difference between skilled swarmers and infighters, like Duran and Frazier, and brawlers like Ricardo Mayorga.

Yeah Teddy is legendary. Would you have the balls to pull a gun on Mike Tyson or push George Foreman? No you guys wouldnt. You just woulda stood their and not push George. Teddy is not one to take shite from anyone. You have to understand from Teddys perspective that he has a street mentality because thats were he is from the streets. And he never completely lost that sorta street instict. So thats why he does stuff like that.

Nobody cares more about their fighters than Teddy. Atlas has an almost father adopted son bond with his fighters. Teddy would do anything to motivate for them to win like for Moorer.

 I know you are just trolling because you cannot believe someone Pulling a Gun on a 15 year old and not having the balls to use it...and then going on for years getting wet like a women in heat retelling the story is not someone you would think of having "balls." Especially when that same person pushes George Foreman ONLY when a room full of people are present knowing full well that the reborn Christian/Preacher Big George Foreman, an actually Pro fighter and Champion, isn't going to ruin his World Class reputation over some middle-class boyscout who decided to want to play wannabe gangsta because he had Daddy issues and couldn't live up to the Man his Father was.

Now I didn't say it wasn't the "Smart" thing to do to bring a gun with you when you talked **** to a 15 year old Mike Tyson who would have kicked the **** out of you, and of course Big George Foreman, another man that would have kicked the **** out of you if you met him in an alley and pushed him like that...but don't confuse "Smart" with having "Balls" because "balls" usually isn't the part of the body that thinks correctly.

Teddy cares so much about his fighters that he tries to mentally manipulate them and scold them in public...and then leaves them.

Back in Cuba I was like 11 yrs old and went to a boxing school to learn how to box.Old black man known as Bembuque was the trainer, I asked him I wanted to know how to hit hard, he told me ; first you must learn how not to get hit.Thats a good trainer.
