he bossed that fight I'm talking about mate, on that performance he did impress me.

 

He's an ok fighter, never beaten anyone of note or with a particularly strong record even. He lost to the one notable guy he faced.

I just think there were better fights to bring DeGale on.

Them videos do make me laugh they really do but you can take clips from most peoples lives and do that to be honest, I can be made to look like a maniac and then I could be made to look like the second coming of George Michael.. I fully agree he went about the whole Groves thing in a terrible way, heh paid for that I feel too! Like I said though I know him personally and he's a good kid.

I tend to agree with you Tony but its 50/50. Fwank and his PR team should habe known to shut him up and played the Goldenboy line but DeGale got to big for his boots and wanted to be Floyd Mayweather.

I couldn't agree More pal, that's what I meant when I said people should have had a word, if I behaved in any silly ways I'd be put straight by people in my team no doubt this is why I say I have good people around me who actually care about me.. :good this is a big thing in boxing cos it really is a bad business if you don't surround yourself with good trust worthy people..:good

 

to be fair tony i haven't been a fan off how you come across on occasion but we do get to see a more personal side of you on this forum so it all works out well.

i asked a question a few days ago which you didn't respond to. maybe pm if you don't want to on here. why did you sign with a certain promoter when he already had a reputation for doing everything that has happened to you?

 

Ill answer mate, I have nothing to hide.. Thing with me is I trust people when I meet them (thats now changed) and I got on great with Him for many years and stayed loyal too, I signed when I didnt have to when SN was finished up I also stood by him when other members left (foolish of me) I did these things cos we'd built up a relationship, well that's what I thought! It wasn't until I started trying to negotiate things when it all went sour imo, It's like I should never of questioned him?

Thing is its ok looking after 4 round fighters but it's different when titles are involved and you want what your worth, on a personal level You can't dislike the man, he's great, tells you what you wanna hear but the truth is totally different, if everything was as was promised I wouldn't have walked away but that's just it. Everything is not as it seems..

He approached me when I was an amateur I signed with him and thank him for we're he got me but if the truth does ever come out then you'll all see what I'm talking about. Well that's the truth pal. ;-)

Is De Gale still having this fight? I heard he has now relinquished the EBU after winning the WBC silver however a date and location has been set on boxrec. Anyone know?

Also to Tony Bellew, I was training out in Tenerife with Tony Challinor and Kevin (think his second name's Smith). said they had trained you a bit back in the amareurs.
